Roberto Cavalli Designs Coca-Cola Light Dresses
August 7th, 2008 by kpriss
Last year he was doing a collection for H&M. This year, he’s dressing up the Coca Cola bottles.
300,000 bottles go Cavalli and will be distributed only in Italy from September till December. They target young strong women, “women with a strong personality, who are extrovert, modern and like to experiment; women who love beauty, design, art and culture”. So if you’re that kind of woman and don’t drink Coca Cola Light, you’re not accomplished! I say run to Italy and queue up for a Cavalli Light! Packed? Ready? (click picture to see the entire bottle)

Jewerly Goes Black Widow With Gisele Ganne
August 6th, 2008 by kpriss
If you actually thought Vertebrae was today’s weirdness, well, here comes the Black Widow Collection!
And it’s not only the look of those jewelry flirting with my common goth sense, but also the story accompanying them. Gisele Ganne lives in the UK (42% divorce rate) and comes from France, a country with 38% divorce rate and the highest chic culture. By that I’m saying that everything, everyone (and their dog) must be (and indeed is) chic in France. Even death, mourning and divorce. (more pictures after the jump)
Would You Have Some Designer Cake?
August 6th, 2008 by kpriss
I’m curious about your feelings regarding special occasion cakes. You know, those dog-shaped, frog-looking-like, book-alike or whatever-shape-like cakes people order (and eat!) for special celebrations in their life…
You know I wrote about that renowned Louis Vuitton one of a kind cake looking like a pile of C&A handbags in sales. But this time it’s some serious cake talk. As serious as special designed cakes can be. So, “The girl with the most cake” (that seems to be a line from a Courtney Love song) designs cakes. Do you order special shaped cakes for celebrations? What would be (or by all means, what was) the craziest cake you’ve ever seen? (for me it’s this rat cake!)
Givenchy Phenomen’Eyes Mascara
August 6th, 2008 by kpriss
My faithful mascara (Lancôme) lives its last days and I begun the mascara hunting party. I came across this Givenchy and was most amazed with the result! (oh, how I love honest makeup reviews! They actually help!)
Anyway, this wand made me raise my eyebrows and wonder if, by accident, they’ve cut the thing in production and this was a bad outcome, actually. Well, I couldn’t be more wrong, it seems, since the applicator is a small sphere intended to look and behave in a very specific way. That sphere shape allows an even distribution of the mascara on every lash for a spectacular after effect. Have you tried this one? Should I give up my Lancôme L’Extreme for the Givenchy Phenomen’Eyes promise?

Most Original Necklace – Vertebrae By Molly Epstein
August 6th, 2008 by kpriss
I don’t know if a better use for this necklace can be found outside the Halloween surroundings. If so, I’d like you to open my perspective over this special necklace and describe how it fits a normal wardrobe.
However, this is one bold creation and, believe it or not, it actually passed the project phase and went into production. It’s called Vertebrae (what a suited name for a dinosaurs exhibition!) and is signed by Molly Epstein. Would you wear this? On which occasions?

Here’s Katie’s New Hairdo!
August 5th, 2008 by kpriss
It was just days ago that I looked at Katie Holmes Boyfriend Jeans, everything was normal and now this? I don’t know what she’s thinking and why she’s doing this, but she goes more and more androgyny on us.
Or maybe it’s Tom’s hairdresser who chopped her new do (it does look a bit too messy, doesn’t it?). Or maybe she’s working on a new career for herself. Other than that, let’s hope that the spirit of those twin haircuts she practices with Suri will come to a glorious end. The little one grows the same heavy bangs over her eyes as her mother… Now putting an end to that would be a good news, wouldn’t it?

Secret Obsession Without Moderation
August 5th, 2008 by kpriss
Are you familiar with that Calvin Klein Secret Obsession Madness? Since there’s a world of controversy around the promotional clip, they all try to convince everyone (and their dog) that it’s a political correct campaign and there’s no need to exaggerate.
Backing that, here’s a little flower power philosophy to match the main Calvin Klein Secret Obsession meal. Is this marketing righteous? Or just a desperate Frenchman adding some fake sexual chic to brighten up the situation?
“This country really needs a new president — this country is so messed up. (…) it’s quite upsetting, frankly, how hypocritical this country has become. It’s OK for children to see people killed by guns? Spreading a little love right now would be a good idea.” Fabien Baron, creative director Calvin Klein Secret Obsession Ad Clip talking about the US

Gisele Bundchen Takes Her Ebel Watches To Bed
August 5th, 2008 by kpriss
It must be some kind of trend – undressed beautiful women between sheets. This time it’s Ebel Fall 2008 featuring Gisele Bundchen.
Besides her scared deer look, forced pose and unnatural arm position, if I buy that watch and see that it’s not glowing like the one from this ad print, I’d feel betrayed. What kind of clients are targeted by this kind of advertising campaign? Women looking like Gisele? Women wanting to look like Gisele? Men wanting their women to look like Gisele? Men loving Gisele’s looks? I’m puzzled. Help me out here! What would it be?
