Windshape, The Wind Pavillion
August 16th, 2008 by kpriss
You remember The French and the Glorious Cosmovoide Bed? Well now you have the French and the Glorious Wind pavilion.
It looks like a spiderman’s thing, but Windshape it’s a two-eight-meter high dynamic structure meant to be a gathering place near the Provence campus in Lacoste (France). Made from plastic pipes with aluminum collars and string, this is a shape created to embrace wind. I wouldn’t understand in what ways that structure represents a gathering for students.(more pictures after the jump)
$14 Million Garrard Necklace And $16,26 Million Chopard Ring
August 16th, 2008 by kpriss
What’s a $14 Million item meant to do? Nothing. Just be. Garrard’s Heart of the Kingdom Ruby is one of the most expensive jewelry ever.
Not too beautiful, just big, this British piece of jewelry is about a 40.63 Burma ruby and a 155 carat diamond necklace that could also be worn separately as a tiara. If you think this is not attractive enough to you, there’s always the Chopard Blue Diamond Ring worth $16,26 Million. Why? Because blue natural diamonds are very rare and that’s the reason this otherwise very normal engagement ring costs about $1,7 Million/carat. Just curious – besides being outrageously expensive, these jewelry pieces look beautiful to you?

Kate Moss From Rimmel To YSL Beauté
August 15th, 2008 by kpriss
What’s there to be sad about when losing a beauty contract? There’s always gonna be another one to replace it.
And I don’t think Kate La Moss was ever sad when losing the Rimmel account… She replaced it fast with a heavy one – Yves Saint Laurent Beauté. Would it be the L’Oreal take on its newly acquisitioned YSL Beauté that cheapens this ad so much? Does it look YSL to you?

August 15th, 2008 by kpriss
If you dream about wearing an Armani dress or get into an Armani hotel, just think that you only do it once. Maybe twice. What about an Armani original that you can use every single day of your life? Start saving money, here comes the…
Giorgio Armani TV! And I’m not talking about a TV Channel ! (not that we haven’t seen that before!) I’m talking about a TV set! Teaming with Samsung, the first Armani/PAVV TV measures 46inch or 52inch and retails for $7,000 and $8,750 respectively. (don’t miss the Armani remote control right after the jump)
Boogie Wonderland From Happy Feet
August 15th, 2008 by kpriss
Ever felt that the world is not singing to your tune and you’re not dancing to its song? Have you ever felt misplaced? (if you’ve seen Happy Feet, you know why I talk about not finding your place)
I know I did. Today I want to share love with you. It’s a special celebration in my family, and without my family I wouldn’t be here, sharing so many beautiful things with you. Without my husband, I wouldn’t have started this. Thank you for believing in me, thank you for being there for me. For us. I love you and the meaning you brought to my life!
Camila Alves Handmade Muxo Handbags
August 14th, 2008 by kpriss
Now who’s Camila Alves in the first place? Well, she’s Matthew McConaughey’ girlfriend. The mother of his first newborn child. In other words – a celebrity.
Well, Camila recently launched a handbag collection named Muxo. And the good news is that it seems to be different from any other celebrity-signed-line! Because the handbags are hand made! By her! (and her mother). Muxo means “Goddess of the water”. They surely don’t look like the epitome of luxury, but they’re authentically created by who presents them, so that makes them special (plus they’re a match made in heaven for the muks). Do you think she really makes the handbags? To be honest, I really liked the one she had for the launch (at Kitson) with all that colored fringe work. (you can see the image after the jump)
Scarface Without Moderation
August 14th, 2008 by kpriss
Yesterday I told you a story about Penelope Cruz, today I’ll tell you (a short) one about her boyfriend – Javier Bardem (you might be familiar with him from No Country for Old men – where I found him brilliant).
However, I wasn’t expecting to find out so much about Mr Bardem’s intimates believes and be so surprised in the same time:
“I DON’T believe in God, I believe in Al Pacino, and that’s true.”
It’s like hearing Posh say she doesn’t believe in God, she only believes in Hermes! Why would anyone mess up with the Big Guy Upstairs for an Oscar?

Behold The New Architecture Style – Gearthitecture!
August 14th, 2008 by kpriss
Funny things happen when you only rely on tech sources. And finding out your neighborhood isn’t really what you thought or remembered, is one of them.
The other would be a completely unique and surprising architecture brought to you by the one and only Google Earth. I confess using it from time to time and being impressed by the algorithms they must use to stitch everything together like that. Nevertheless, important distortions happen to good programs too, so here’s a multi satellite multi shoot patched all together… It’s like those drawings from childhood where you’re supposed to see the flaws. What’s your perspective telling you?(click thumbnails to see larger images)
