Meet Ataui Deng!
November 6th, 2008 by kpriss
A while back I told you I ran into Alek Wek in Paris, on the street. And (maybe because I’m not used to seeing models running down the street every day) I was impressed of how beautiful and graceful she was.
Our friend Ellington remembered that particular rendez-vous and send me a link recently about Ataui Deng. Ataui Deng is a young Sudanese woman, 17 years old. Beautiful and graceful, looking every inch her aunt, Alek Wek! Thank you, Ellington, Here she goes – Ataui Deng! Wishing her the best of luck in her chosen career! (photos via nymag, essence.com)

November 5th, 2008 by kpriss
I told you that this Vogue UK was a fantastic issue! Literally! Photographically! Here comes another stunning pictorial to prove me right and enchant your eyes!
It’s called Unbelievable Fashion, shot by Nick Knight. It’s about fashion. Fantastic fashion, like they called it in this issue. Fashion that has been done and will remain for ever an example, fashion that’ll turn into legend. Designers, visionaries, inventors of style, makers of shapes, creators of dreams. Galliano, Gareth Pugh, Alexander McQueen, Hussein Chalayan, Rei Kawakubo, Viktor & Rolf, Thierry Mugler, Issey Miyake. Designers. Fashion. Fantastic. How do you like this issue? (photos via tfs)

You remember not long ago I introduced you to a wonderful crystal jewelry box called G Pod and made by Victor Vetterlein.
Mr Vetterlein send me an email with thanks for having wrote that piece on the wonderful G Pod and recently sent me his latest release – YO, an iPod and MP3 stereo speaker dock. So here it is, in all its whiteness and simplicity – Victor Vetterlein’s YO! (more pictures after the jump)
Kate Winslet Goes Deneuve In Vanity Fair December 2008
November 5th, 2008 by kpriss
You’d say it isn’t her, and still! Kate Winslet is, indeed, covering the December Issue of Vanity Fair Magazine.
Blonde and beautiful, she channels her inner Catherine Deneuve and strikes a “bares all” photo shoot signed by Steven Meisel. I usually don’t read this kind of editorials. But Kate’s case was different. Just like Julianne Moore’s. I love these two ladies. They’re so natural and down to earth, I can’t help but find interesting almost every detail of their personalities. In total and complete respect for their privacy (meaning I don’t do gossip about them; it would be… amoral) (more pictures after the jump)

Victoria Beckham, The Dark Leather Lady
November 5th, 2008 by kpriss
Between her mother-of-three duties, her wife day-to-day life, her designer career, her self-branding-and-promoting, when does Posh finds time to dress up?
Look at all those buckles and how fit they were adjusted! All the outfit was carefully planned, aligned, buttoned up to the neck, buckled up and matched with cap and shades, all black of course. Word is she’s feeling insecure because of her husband leaving for Milan (for a contract with AC Milan). Would this fierce biker tenue bring her confidence back? Leather is the middle name for power, lately? (photos via dailymail)
Linda Evangelista Ad For The New Prada Phone
November 4th, 2008 by kpriss
The new Prada mobile phone, by LG is a coming soon subject. But that doesn’t stops Prada from advertising with its new spokeface – Linda Evangelista.
It’s actually called KE850 Prada, Prada tout court and will be released in Europe and Asia. The touch screen phone costs appx $780. If it comes with a Linda Evangelista screensaver it will make a blast! It’s a simple yet very stylish ad. I just hope that when they’ll actually sell the phone, they’ll be ready to answer the obvious question: “If I slide my phone like that, would Linda appear on my screen?”

I-D Leona Lewis In December 2008
November 4th, 2008 by kpriss
A Black cover is a great cover anytime! Young and beautiful Leona Lewis covers I-D for the December Issue.
I promise, this wink is way harder than the prune! Oh well, someday I’ll be able to wink in complete beauty so when they’ll propose me the I-D cover, I’ll accept tout de suite, knowing I’d look great! Until then, I’m just sitting here, enjoying Leona Lewis “Wink, I’ll do the rest” on a Disco cover of i-D magazine! Do you think they go for celebrity covers to boost the end of the year sales?
