You remember not long ago I introduced you to a wonderful crystal jewelry box called G Pod and made by Victor Vetterlein.

Mr Vetterlein send me an email with thanks for having wrote that piece on the wonderful G Pod and recently sent me his latest release – YO, an iPod and MP3 stereo speaker dock. So here it is, in all its whiteness and simplicity – Victor Vetterlein’s YO! (more pictures after the jump)

Beyond its sci-fi looks, YO actually works! It’s a rechargeable, waterproof, wireless stereo speaker docking station for digital audio players for indoor and outdoor use. When removed from the base, the speakers stand upright and function due to their lithium-ion rechargeable batteries.

The design intention is that a renewable energy source such as solar power, wind power, or hydroelectricity charges the battery packs when the stereo is not in use.

That would solve the problem of getting a stereo in the kitchen, one in the bathroom and one on the terrace, now would it? Just the YO to carry allover the place!
