Louis Vuitton’s Monogram Flowers Diamonds
November 13th, 2008 by kpriss
Now if I can have a monogrammed bag, a monogrammed ring, monogrammed-you-name-it, why not a monogrammed diamond?
Montblanc has it, so does Louis Vuitton! The Diamonds cut like their monogram flowers! And to think this was in the works for over four years! Pantented LV Diamonds with 61-77 facets (a typical diamond has appx 58 facets), part of Les Ardentes (the blazing) collection, to be sold for $4 million! 65 rounded flower diamond (with curved petals) and 79 pointed flower diamond (with sharp petals) were mixed into a bracelet, two brooches, a pair of earrings, a necklace and a ring. I already have a weak eye for trying to spot all those brand details from different accessories, now imagine I’ll have to have a magnifier on me, at all time! You wouldn’t want to miss out on the LV Diamond, right?(wmagazine.com, forum.purseblog via luxuo)
Juicy Couture MacLaren Stroller For The Juicy Baby Princess
November 13th, 2008 by kpriss
I confess to my guilty pleasure – the Juicy Couture velour tracksuit. In fact it’s not the tracksuit that I love. It’s the pants. The Velour pants. I love them. Now that I confessed my addiction, I can move on.
To the Juicy Couture MacLaren stroller! I have a problem with pink and baby girls. I know, when they’re tiny, little babies, you can’t tell much if it’s a boy or a girl. Colors help. Dressed in blue? A baby boy! Dressed in pink? A baby girl! Now we’ve got that straight, can we, please, move on and use other colors? MacLaren has worked a truce with Juicy Couture – half pink, half chocolate brown. But that crown logo ruins it all in my perspective! And who gets to see it, anyway? The baby’s supposed to be sited, right? And that dossier where your baby’s back will normally be, it’s the very emplacement of the royal crown. So kitsch. (more after the jump)
Thursday’s Quick Blogaround
November 13th, 2008 by kpriss
Today’s blogaround is about pieces of heaven spread around the fashion blogosphere. Little things I came across and wanted to share with you.
It’s mostly about clothes. And accessories. About fashion and style. Carefully hand picked and thoughtfully selected, here it goes! (enjoy!) A cold weather schematic attire that you can bright up with a blue-sky scarf! (image via shesgotnothingtowear)
Or a pair of hot pants for a radical change of look?
Maybe you’re considering a mix and match with the latest Comme des Garçons brought to you by eBay?
Or carefully thrifted by you, following strict guidelines that you have to consider when you go goodies hunting!
No matter what you’ll wear (and where you buy it from), don’t forget to bring your big clutch with you, this season’s hotbag!
and maybe, for a rock and roll twist, some gorgeous pieces of jewelry!
That is, of course, if you’re not daydreaming about the perfect wedding dress, in which case, this tulle masterpiece must be your dreams becoming reality!
Britney And The Photoshop Circus
November 12th, 2008 by kpriss
Smoothing the skin, hiding blemishes, we’ve all seen that. We’re getting used to seeing people on magazine covers slimmed with Photoshop.
Rare are the occasions where we can see a total altering of one’s face (and/or body) with Photoshop tools. Britney’s Circus is one of those cases. Not only her skin is perfect and her hair is magical, but her face is… totally different from the real life. The Circus sells fantasies, as usual (just for the record.. I don’t like that Rodarte dress from the album’s cover). Now if Britney is doing Christina (in her retro, lovely, Baby Jane era), Christina should do Beyonce? Now that Beyonce is doing Sasha…? I Am… Sasha Fierce
November 12th, 2008 by kpriss
Who is Sasha Fierce? I’ve introduced you to her without properly making the presentations. I’m making up for my rudeness now!
Earlier this year, a viral ad campaign was conducted through internet mainly. It was about “HAHAs” and it involved a certain Joker. And later on, The Dark Knight movie. (that I found brilliant, RIP Heath! You really made an acting masterpiece out of this Joker!). Later on, we were subjects to another ad campaign, less teasing and less smart named “Who is Sasha Fierce”. A site appeared, a myspace intriguing account under that very name too. Nobody knew what was all about! (more pictures after the jump)
Tiffany & Co Diamonds Phone Is A Bestseller!
November 12th, 2008 by kpriss
Tiffany & Co got its hands into gadgetry too. Their phones (made with Softbank Mobile) were encrusted with over 400 diamonds and priced at appx $134,000.
Given the actual stage of the world’s economy, you wouldn’t believe something like this could really work! Well, it worked! The eight diamond studded phones by Tiffany sold in just three days! The diamond phone was released on November 1 in Japan and by November 3, it was all gone! Besides being impossibly ugly and I imagine very heavy (compared to a normal mobile phone), I still can’t get my mind to think outside the iPhone! What could make you change your phone? (via)

Eva Green’s Montblanc Ad Campaign
November 12th, 2008 by kpriss
A while back, I told you there was going to be a Montblanc advertising campaign featuring Eva Green. I was quite impatient to see how it will turn out since I find Eva to be a truly interesting physiognomy, belonging in the Adam’s Family (and I loved that show!).
Well, here’s the proof in images! Eva Green’s retro mesmerizing looks at work to present pieces from the La Dame Blanche Collection, the 4810 Collection, a sport watch , all signed Montblanc. I sometimes wonder if there’s a special school of advertisers when it comes to jewelry (and watches) commercials. Don’t they look all the same? Studied, unreal, perfect? Jennifer Aniston’s Vogue December 2008 Vs. Angelina Jolie’s Vogue January 2007
November 12th, 2008 by kpriss
By now you should’ve been wondering who’ll get to cover the last Vogue US issue (for 2008!). Well, it’s Jennifer Aniston!
No reason whatsoever (besides getting publicity), everyone quotes her from the interview (so called explosive!) “what Angelina did was very uncool”. Angie.. did? Un-cool? How many years until we grow tired of this? If Brad wasn’t available, Angelina wouldn’t have had him. End of story. The moment I saw the cover, however, I could only think of one thing only! And that was the January Vogue cover with Angelina Jolie. The same red dress, the same sand set. (more after the jump)
