Gisele Bundchen Does Dior Spring Summer 2009 Ad Campaign
January 19th, 2009 by kpriss
Gisele Bundchen has left her gorgeous wavy locks for an out-of-bed look with severely cut short bangs.
The campaign is rather strange to my eyes, I’d say she was posing normally in a subway station and just when the camera was making the right click! Gisele was swept away by a speeding train! It’s my fun version for this trainwreck ad. What’s yours? Is this Dior SS09 with Gisele a statement of higher than art fashion photography? (either way, this is far worse looking than the Versace overdose of fake tan!)(photo via tfs)
Scarlett Johansson For D & G Cosmetics Ad Campaign 2009
January 18th, 2009 by kpriss
I really missed a new Marilyn impersonator! It’s not completely unexpected coming from blonde Hollywood sensation Scarlett Johansson.
She has the right constitution, she has the right peroxide concentration and then there’s Photoshop. Chosen as the new 2009 spokesface for Dolce and Gabbana Cosmetics, Scarlett is this year’s Marilyn Monroe, courtesy of Solve Sundsbo. Every year there’s got to be a Scarlett – something, right? Some like it Scarlett. How about you? (via wwd)

The Sticky And Sweet Faces Of Madonna Vs W Magazine March 2009
January 18th, 2009 by kpriss
UPDATE: Due to a special intervention from a very respected LA Law Office, many of the pictures originally shown in this article were removed. I’m sorry for the inconvenience, please understand and support our decision.
When I think of Madonna and her last ad campaign for Louis Vuitton, I can hardly believe it’s the same person in these pictures.
Looking tired, showing her true age, Madonna can be authentic too. Or at least as close as possible to authenticity. Her hooking up with Steven Klein, lately, didn’t do her a world of favor.
She’s one of the best performers ever, but it doesn’t hurt catching up with reality! Come on, Madge, there’s no shame in showing your age, is there?
On the other hand, her upcoming photo spread for W Magazine
May March 2009 looks a bit of over-airbrushed.
She also introduces her new seducer self since she’s photographed holding tight and approaching for a kiss a waaaay younger man.
That’s the Madonna we know! Photoshop and intimacy! Do you miss Madonna the bourgeois? (photos via ontd)(more pictures and UPDATE added after the jump! )

SpongeBob Jewelry For Marc Jacobs!
January 17th, 2009 by kpriss
Who’s the world’s number one Sponge Bob fan? (or at least the Fashion World’s number one Sponge Bob fan..) Maaaaarc Jacoooobs!
So that’s at least the best news yet for this SpongeBob SquarePants adorer: an entire collection of jewelry and watches SpongeBob related has been created by Simmons Jewelry Co.
The star of the collection is a white, blue, red, yellow diamonds studded pendant to be auctioned off for charity. This very special jewelry collection is ranged from $150 to no less than $75,000!
SpongeBob, the new King of Bling! Anyone care to pass this on to Mr Marc Jacobs? It could save him some tattoos! (via)
Fergie For MAC 2009: Photoshop Viva Glam!
January 17th, 2009 by kpriss
I’m really puzzled when it comes to the commonsensical logic of this world’s advertisers! Is it because the present times Divas are no longer photo-friendly or maybe we’re so photoshop-blind that we no longer care about respecting the reality?
When I saw this new ad print for MAC with Fergie in a purple feathered attire I couldn’t just bound to the eye-stealing purple madness! I kept looking further for Fergie. And I honestly didn’t found her!
All I found was a cyber-clone with the same brow piercing as Fergie, but shamelessly looking like a fish with plastic hands. Just imagine that this ad should be about Fergie’s new MAC Viva Glam lipgloss!
Really, MAC? It’s all you could come up with in the name of Glam Makeup? (photos via popsugar, flynetonline.com)

New Year’s Blogaround
January 17th, 2009 by kpriss
It has been some time from my last Blogaround and things haven’t radically changed ‘round the blogs despite the new recession. Beauty talk and fashion gossip just a click away! I have a thing for fellow columnists who really follow their passion and take internet publishing to a pro level! It’s really inspirational!
So let’s take it slowly with a highly styled advertising campaign for Spring Summer 2009 for Sisley.
If you’re more into romantic scenery, you should maybe consider these Bergdorf Goodman windows!
Then again, some exotic, Marrakech gardens should be therapeutic. Especially when carrying the iconic YSL signature!
Roughly back to reality, the new pop sensation Lady Gaga took Disney World too seriously and she brought the Minnie’s coiffure bow to reality.
Now for the poll fans, this week’s Already Prettypoll! Have fun!
Gossip Girls Blake Lively And Taylor Momsen Take Vogue February And Page Six
January 16th, 2009 by kpriss
I don’t watch TV. Not because I wouldn’t, normally, but mostly because I have no time to do so. Instead, I keep up with everything using that wonderful tool called Internet.
Every now and then I get swept off by some smashing TV hit (24h, Prison Break, Heroes, The Office) but that’s about it. So, naturally, Gossip Girl frenzy is slightly beyond my understanding. We have a family friend who’d completely stuck on Gossip Girl, but not us. No-oh!
I had to use Youtube to get my Gossip Girl slice? If anything like that falls in the hands of a regular GG fan, I must look overdosed with ignorance.
But Vogue And Page Six Magazine, both highly respectable publications decided to make my Gossip culture. I can understand Page Six, it’s gossip-ish after all. But Vogue? (more after the jump)

Bling Your Tennis Set With Tiffany Silver Tennis Ball Can!
January 16th, 2009 by kpriss
It may sound strange, but Tiffany & Co. really is into tennis. And more than just to provide earrings for Maria Sharapova.
Now they made a silver tennis ball can. Designed like any other tennis ball can, this special Tiffany 1837 8” can is said to keep the four balls it can contain at the optimum temperature. I honestly don’t think a silver can would improve my tennis, more than a Chanel Ski would make a ski pro out of me. Would you be willing to have one of these, knowing they sell for $1,500? (via)
