How do you know it’s already fall? Despite of my wanting to not separate from my summer attires, throughout the long fall and winter seasons I keep dreaming about wearing sandals. Jimmy Choo Fall Winter 2009/2010 campaign makes my dreams come true!

Because you don’t have to stop wearing sandals even if it’s fall! Because, in the comfort and chaleur of your own home, you can wear as many high heeled sandals as you please! While the world’s fashionistas struggle to find the rarest, coolest, most unique and original jumpsuit, I’m writing about uniforms! That shouldn’t be fashionable at all!

But if you take Uniform and add Lost to it, it all points to the Dharma Initiative Jumpsuit! That Dharma Initiative! That was, of course, just a stylish pretext to talk about Lost. Did you know there’s actually an entire universe created around this particular TV show? Like, for instance, did you know there was a Lostpedia? Do you watch Lost? (or did you? Ever since I discovered Alessi, I became a fan of whimsical kitchen appliances/tools. Things that belong in the kitchen but don’t really look to be destined for the cuisine space!

Stick to the space idea for there goes the UFO Juicer! Cute looking, harmlessly intended, the UFO Juicer is an useful gadget that anyone has (or should have) in the kitchen. Not necessarily with this out-of-space makeup, but isn’t this delightfully different? (What on Earth via Book of Joe)

I know you loved the first promo pictures from Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, so as soon as more images were released, I wanted to fill you in on the characters details as portrayed by Tim Burton.

It’s so beautiful, I could easily make posters out of these pictures! But did you actually know that this movie comes more like a sequel to Disney’s original movie (1951)? Tim Burton imagined that Alice goes back to Wonderland with a major amnesia, not remembering anything from her previous visit. (that somewhat explains the White Queen who wasn’t actually present in Lewis Caroll’s first book but in the second chapter Through The Looking Glass). Is it March 5th 2010 yet? (via)

Remember Rem Koolhaas Prada Transformer? Well, it was said that from a point on it will shift position in order to enable the cinema facet to take over.

From June 26th to July 5th, a special festival co-curated by Alejandro González Iñárritu was hosted by the Prada Transformer. The film festival, called “Flesh, Mind and Soul” was projected on one of the faces from a tubular center piece. With an all-black interior, the new Cinema-positioned Transformer looks as it was never destined for something else. Architecture, (sigh!) such a wonderful spell to cast! We interrupt this normally entertaining frizz-program to let you know that Guns’n’Roses won a lawsuit against a blogger! Kevin Cogill blogged about Guns last album “Chinese Democracy”, sharing nine tracks from the long-awaited GNR album!

He was sentenced to a year’s probation, serving two months of home confinement, subject his computers to government scrutiny plus a PSA (public service announcement) for the Record Industry Association of America. Luckily he was spared from serving prison time by U.S. Magistrate Judge Paul Abrams who said he felt Cogill had learned his lesson! Hmmm… (rPulse via ontdn, photo via dailymail)

Everybody’s talking about Josh Duhamel lately. Simply because he’s starring in the last Transformers (Revenge Of The Fallen). Ok, maybe also because he’s good looking and Fergie’s husband. Maybe!

But did you know that Josh wears a necklace that he actually designed and made himself? As hard to believe as you find it, Josh Duhamel has this artistic bug that first pushed him to take a particularly artistic class in college and now he’s surprising close friends with gifts made by his own hand! He even explained the necklace he was snapped wearing one day: it’s actually an f and a j (from Fergie and Josh, duh!) bond together, symbolizing the love between the two. Now just how heart… ahem metal melting is that? (via)
