Fold It Like Hermes: Hermes Folding Travel Belt
June 3rd, 2010 by kpriss
Now if you’ve seen the Hermes Ties travel case yesterday, you’re gonna love this! Hermes is keen on traveling. And today they’ll teach us the value of having a voyage-ready belt.
Though I have absolutely no issue when dealing with classically-roundshaped packed belts, it seems the Luxury people have a completely different perspective on packing. Much to my surprise, Hermes‘ source of inspiration seems to have been the plumber’s rule – if I hadn’t knew this was a Hermes Folding Travel Belt, I would’ve sworn it was a mighty impractical plumber’s rule (no gradations, nada). Please note that the new folding perspective is labeled with a $708 price tag! Innovations don’t come cheap, do they? (via)
Dare To Wear Owlita Feathered Jewelry?
June 3rd, 2010 by kpriss
Something about big earrings always draws me like the butterfly towards the flame. I love big, enormous earrings! I also wish I could wear them safely instead of having a toddler hanging on each of my precious big earrings if ever I dare the devil and wear some.
Getting back to the point: I desperately need myself an impossibly big pair of earrings and I think these Owlita feathered earrings could do just the trick! (hit the jump for more details)

Vanessa Paradis Does UK Harper’s Bazaar July 2010
June 3rd, 2010 by kpriss
Vanessa Paradis definitely has a moment right now. And I couldn’t be happier since her style, her entire persona, is truly an oasis in both time and space.
Also, as un-nice as it may seem (it’s something I really try hard not to, however, opportunities stubbornly appear along the way – like that Zac Posen apartment the other day) – yeah, so I was getting somewhere – Vanessa Paradis on the cover of a magazine makes a more delightful sight than Kate Moss or 70% of the moment’s models (say.. Lara Stone? Natasha Poly?). Her cover styling is pretty youthful, passing through the Photoshop purgatory. Lovely end result, nevertheless, wouldn’t you agree? (photos via)

Kenzo’s 40 Years Of Creativity Anniversary Collection
June 2nd, 2010 by kpriss
Now this is something Kenzo! I do recognize and feel the flowery flavor of these three new items from Kenzo’s special 40th anniversary collection. Kenzo celebrates its 40 years and it’s raining special items!
Another canvas shopping bag with leather handles, a cotton tee with its own silk bag (which could be used as a bag, like we’ve seen earlier), a special scarf, all with hearts and flowers. “Forty years of imagination, of surprises, of creativity, color, poetry and flowers”. Impatient for more? (via)
Forget Clothes, Wear Your Tattoos Instead!
June 2nd, 2010 by kpriss
That’s something not many people can honorably pull. However, Julia Gnuse is World’s Most Tattooed Woman (95% of her body skin is covered in ink) only has her ears and feet tattoo – free.
She’s now 55-year-old and she’s being working on covering her skin since she was 35. I have no idea if the ample artwork on her body features any fashion brands, she did say something about TV series scenes. So that makes Lindsay still eligible for a record of some kind… What would it be? (via)
Josh Holloway, The Lost Sawyer’s Men’s Health June 2010
June 2nd, 2010 by kpriss
It’s been quite some time since our last Man of Style. Since you haven’t made a specific request, I’m taking the liberty to bring you someone we treasure in our household. Yeah, you know we do everything together here so we watched Lost together and my husband was totally hooked on Josh Holloway’s character – Sawyer.
Covering June’s 2010 Men’s Health is our very own Lost Josh Holloway. Wearing that same Sawyer haircut and flexing his muscles so every man out there take note. (the story continues right after the jump with more images!)

Proposal Style: In The Park
June 2nd, 2010 by kpriss
You know what they say: love conquers all! So it did with me, today. I can’t help but share this video, brought to my attention by the unlimited viral powers of the interwebs.
It’s a special marriage proposal. Where? Madison Square Park. When? A bright sunny day! I won’t keep you any longer, please, go ahead and press play, your heart will melt! (and when you catch your breath, let’s talk proposals – lived and dreamed)
Hermes Ties Travel Bag For Very Stylish Men
June 2nd, 2010 by kpriss
I really think this is just the natural progression of luxury things. Hermes launched a Ties Only travel bag, a special shaped suitcase for your ties to carry on knowing they’ll always travel first class!
Sure it can raise eyebrows, but when you’re paying $1,975 for such an exclusive case, you tend to care less about what the others do with their faces and how they want to show their wrinkles. It was made for six ties and has a unique anti-slip rubber to keep them all in place. Now if you ask me, I’d value some bow tie space in that Hermes thing – I just love bow ties! They lead a double life – classic bow tie on a man, crazy headband on a woman. Ties? Not so much, thanks! (via)
