Fashion Made In Paris. La Classe!
October 10th, 2010 by kpriss
There’s hardly anything to match the fame and the symbolic power of the famous French Tour Eiffel. In any aesthetic dimension of our lives, there’s a bit of the French Eiffel Tower, a token of the French chic and, like they put it: “classe”. As I see it, the “la classe” is a superior chic, something like the uber chic, uber style, uber elegance.
Now you’ll see a case of “la classe” taken to the extremes with a handful of mini Tour Eiffel hanging on a necklace, proudly, on a fashionista! I find it hard to believe that someone will actually buy all those miniatures just to wear them around the neck, in a complete and undeniable statement of kitsch and cheap urban pop. Can you believe this girl? (easy fashion)
Christina Ricci’s BlackBook October 2010
October 10th, 2010 by kpriss
Surprise, surprise! Look who’s back for another BlackBook edition: Christina Ricci! She graces the cover and the pages of the October 2010 issue of the magazine, bonus an interview where she openly speaks about her anorexia troubles.
Regardless of her BlackBook past, this October’s Yu Tsai signed pictorial brings back something from the past. An old Christina Ricci we know and treasure because she’s authentic and not your average Hollywood starlet. She’s dark and mysterious, rebellious and untamed. And that, my daahlings, is what I call authentic. That’s what style icons are made of. (not necessarily implying that she’d be one, just that she has what it takes to stand out in a crowd) What say you? (BlackBook via)

Christina Aguilera’s Royal Desire Perfume
October 8th, 2010 by kpriss
I’m fairly puzzled by Christina Aguilera and the reports judging her career. Some say she’s into a massive flop, other that she’s never been better. I’m having a hard time choosing the right, real one given I’m just an outsider and the media world spins everything according to some internal rules we don’t have access to.
However, I did love her Back to Basics ways and I was hoping she could keep a steady course on that one. Instead, she changed into this Bionic thing, keeping, though, her Royal Desires. That she materialized into a new fragrance. With top notes of white marshmallow, mandarin, blackberry, middle notes of honeysuckle, herbs, lily, rose and base notes of sandalwood, cedar and musk, the new Royal Desire by Christina Aguilera also has a jewelry associated. A heart shaped necklace signed by Stephen Webster. And a pretty girlish ad campaign. Have you heard about her upcoming movie, Burlesque? It appears that she’s quite the actor, our little Christina! Until then, do check out her performance in the video ad campaign right after the jump! (photos via)

Dare To Wear The Amazing Shoes By Anastasia Radevich?
October 8th, 2010 by kpriss
There’s a reason for which Anastasia Radevich called her 2010 collection Biofuture! The 2011 collection, Kinetik, comes as a confirmation, if needed, of Anastasia’s visionary shoequality.
I have my doubts when it comes to actual wearability and sheer comfort, however, if we’re to take the design path, a pair signed by Anastasia Radevich will secure your most stylish shoes position. Enhanced with LED technology, the Kinetik 2011 collection is definitely eye-catching, charming and daring. I love to try out one of those gravity defying high heeled shoes! It would be quite an experience, fashion wise and balance wise. What do you think, could one walk in those? (more images right after the jump, click here for the gallery!) (Anastasia Radevich via)
Perfectly Androgyn Oufit
October 8th, 2010 by kpriss
I’ve been trying to sum up my daily style (sure, that’s when I’m not covering daily routine chores around the house in my comfy sequin leggings and favorite high heel sandals. Joking, biensur. That’s how you should actually read the above: “in my comfy velour jog pants and favorite cozy socks”). And you know what? Now I can actually illustrate it properly!
Wearing a serious case of the Androgyn Outfit, here’s Rianne Ten Haken (who you might have noticed during the Louis Vuitton defile). Her man pants really make my heart sing with joy. Pairing them with a shirt was the logical solution for a put together look (otherwise you can just throw a plain tee on and the pants will always save the day and steal the look). I don’t know about the tux, that’s what you’ll tell me, by casting your votes right after the image! (altamira)
