What did we have last as jewelry designer? An engineer? Well, it’s time to welcome Caroline Bruce, equally jewelry designer by passion, biologist by formation! She did followed a BA in Interior Design also. But what’s that got to do with jewelry design? Passion, that’s what – Caroline was passionate about beads!

I was asking about the artistic (and more) whereabouts of fashion magazines earlier, wasn’t I? How about if I told you right now that the French they’re so avant nous that they’re already turning the reality into a classic theater move? It doesn’t sound so revealing as to make you see the avant-garde and the noir of it!
Sonia Rykiel recently announced. that she’s dressing the actresses from the piece de theatre “Blogueuse” which describes the life of a blogger (girl blogger), Paola. Paola and her interwebs – consumed existence. Such a glamorous, fashionable subject, wouldn’t you agree? I’m impatiently waiting for a big screen adaptation! I really thought the couture bike was alright. I mean other than the price and the obvious snobbery act of owning a designer bicycle, it could pass on as an environmentalist encouragement from the haute couture ranks.
Now get ready for the next small step for the human kind, but big step for the couture bank accounts: the couture motorcycle! And not just any couture motorcycle: Yamaha and Hermes have co-produced a (concept) V Max motorcycle that’s been presented with a $32,000 price tag (appx). Because the Hermes leather detailing, you see, besides having enhanced the silhouette of the motorcycle, it also underlined “its emotional power”. Wait, what? (via)

Anyone still doubts the indestructible powers of the “nation’s sweetheart” on a magazine cover? Especially if it was all orchestrated by Anna Wintour? Anne Hathaway does the November 2010 one of the one and only Vogue US as photographed by Mario Testino.
Sure, there’s a new movie premiere with Anne Hathaway so that and the cover makes it a double victory for her and a comprehensible marketing move for Anna Wintour. Is there really something else to say about the cover? She’s wearing Oscar de la Renta, she’s smiling, she was photographed by Testino. Flaws? Not many. Is it the ideal Vogue cover? No, by far. We’re just settled with what Anna’s feeding us with. Fashion, by Anna: non fat, non extra nothing cocktail of celeb and consecrated designers with a pinch of vintage class and glamour served chilled. Halloween is just around the corner and caramelized apples feel like such a natural thing to do. Alongside hundreds of pumpkin muffins, pies, breads, cakes and so on! I was looking for some fall decorating ideas, other than pumpkins (for you see, I think there’s a limit for how much pumpkin a human stomach can digest… And apples feel heaven-sent!) and I came across these Delicious Candy Apples.
