There’s a particularly interesting rumor circulating according to which Carla Bruni, one of our favorite supermodels, would be pregnant.
The news bears even more weight as Carla Bruni is currently married to Nicolas Sarkozy, the French president. Which, biensur, makes Carla Bruni the First Lady of France. And one of the most fashionable First Ladies ever. After Michelle Obama, my favorite. If the rumor proves to be real, congratulations are in order, for Carla will be “maman” again: her first child, a boy, was born in 2001 to her then – boyfriend, a French philosopher (Raphael Enthoven). Time will tell…

Crystal Renn’s Weight – We Can’t Get Enough Of

All that time has passed, can you believe people are still talking about Crystal Renn’s weight? It’s unbelievable, even for the fashion industry. They just can’t seem to get over the fact that she’s been thin, she’s been over(fashion)weight and now she’s thin again (not that thin in fashperspective, but mostly thin for the people who were used to her being an ambassador for the well proportioned individuals).
Either way, Crystal Renn’s weight is still the hot topic of the day, more like the plat du jour in fashion. Surprisingly, since she’s been like that for almost a year now? Jared Leto In For Hugo Boss, Orlando Bloom Out

In the latest news, it would appear that Orlando Bloom has been replaced by Jared Leto for the next season of Hugo Boss commercials. At least when it comes to Hugo Boss perfumes (Jared Leto has signed a lucrative deal for Hugo Boss’ upcoming perfume, landing this very July).
Orlando Bloom‘s laid back, casual look will be replaced by Jared Leto’s smart edgy casual, though it would appear the two ads may be very much alike. As I find the Royal Wedding happenings pretty fascinating (as I do about pretty much every wedding, except this one has the entire world’s attention), I can’t help but notice the fuss surrounding the events. Tons of memorabilia, all of which (or the vast majority of it) will end up in a garbage can somewhere (or everywhere), oceans of speculations and rumors spreading…
Someone finally stood up and hooked onto the Royal Wedding train only to express what they really feel: Sorry BUT…I couldn’t care less about the Royal Wedding. Is that how you feel too? Would you present this as a gift to whomever you think is intoxicating you with Royal Wedding uberinterest? (Sorry But… We’re just being honest mugs are available here)

Could you believe that someone actually asked Karl Lagerfeld if he would cut his hair? I couldn’t believe my eyes when I read it! Luckily, Der Kaiser is a funny man who knows how to take things lightly and he doesn’t get upset too quickly.
His answer was as sincere as it was fast: he thinks the ponytail is the quickest hairstyle in the world. (though I suspect he might change his mind on that one when he discovers the quickest hairdo in the Universe? the world cannot contain Der Kaiser!) These were his actual words about whether he’ll cut his hair and how he takes care of it:
No, because I’m afraid it won’t grow again. And I’m not very gifted for hairdos. This is the quickest thing in the world. It takes less than five seconds.
[…] I have someone who comes to the house and washes it, puts in the dry shampoo, and takes care if it because I have no time. I don’t even have time to go to the dentist. I’m busy but in a pleasant way. I’m the one who wanted to do all of it, so I can’t complain.

Anja Rubik To Wear Pucci Wedding Dress, Zanotti Shoes

When the Sephora PDA happened, Anja Rubik and her fiance, Sasha Knezevic were, of course, asked about their upcoming wedding. (what, you thought they would only answer to DKNY – related questions?)
As a result, we now know firsthand that Anja‘s wedding is in July, somewhere in Europe. A small ceremony, with family and close friends and a wedding dress by Pucci. Sasha actually said something about three dresses? But I guess we’ll find out when time comes. Also, the bride’s shoes come from Giuseppe Zanotti. This must be such an exciting time for them! You said it was Photoshop… You even thought it was Sean Penn.. but honestly, doesn’t Scarlett Johasson look way more interesting, inviting and, sincerely more attractive than Jacquelyn Jablonski does in the below image?
I may be labeled as an ignorant by the gloom makeup people and some may even feel the need to ask if negativism is all I see in Givenchy‘s Fall Winter 2011 2012 Beauty Ad Campaign. Well, to those of you who feel that way I only have reality to summon as my allied! I couldn’t for the life of me, go out in the light of day with a makeup like this! I couldn’t wear it in the dark either, it would be such a waste! The makeup in itself (the artistic idea of it) is gorgeous. In a Twilight kind of way. But other than that? Would you wear it? Did you know that one of the easiest way to declutter your wardrobe is to change your clothes’ hangers? Yes, as simple as that, like a wonder makeover, your closet instantly changes face and feel.
You can use whatever clothes hangers you like, in the colors of your choice and liking, the same for the materials used. However, when it comes to plastic hangers, here’s what I found: a clothes hangers chair! It’s for a coordinate look with your wardrobe, a stack of hangers always nearby for, don’t know, those moments when you just have to rethink all your closet? Or simply a way to reuse, repurpose, inject new life into your old hangers ejected from the wardrobe and replaced by the new ones of your choosing.
