Beautiful Haircut For Wavy Long Hair!

Did I tell you I’m a wavy to curly girl? Curls and Frizz rule my days. Literraly! (what, you thought “Stylefrizz” came out of nowhere? – wink ). Hence, I learned to befriend hair accessories in my constant taming tryouts.

You’ll think of hair straighteners. Yes, I did that too. Did not tame my hair, it only drove me mad and kept me inside on rainy days. Which isn’t a funny perspective if you’re a rain loving individual. It was also a strict routine – waking up in the morning and straightening (at least) my fringe. Nope. Not for me. So I stayed au naturel – frizz and curls won’t brake my bones for sure!

However, until today, I only thought my hair couldn’t get a chic update unless it was cut off. In a shorter (read neck length, just below the ears line), even bob. Which would only be sustained by the curls and frizz itself. Now take a look at the image below! It’s one of the makeup artists from Oscar de la Renta’s Resort 2012 Fashion Show. I love the cut! I love the fringe, I love the flowing waves down her back. It’s so girly and sweet. Anyone has any ideas about how to pull this off? It doesn’t look like layering, just a simple fringe and full length hair for the rest. Help? Anyone? (photo via)

Brooklyn and Hyde Park are simply gorgeous, meticulously crafted from high standard materials. It’s all you need to look remarkably fashionable even though you’re (safely) carrying a few serious pounds worth of camera and objectives! (and more since there’s a laptop compartment in there too!). By now everyone heard that the American Presidential Family is visiting Europe. Part of their trip, the Great Britain, threw a banquet to celebrate the special occasion. Michelle Obama, naturally, vowed the world with her gowns.

Let’s see: white Tom Ford, black Ralph Lauren and white Alexander McQueen inbetween. There’s really no flaw to the First Lady’s style! As a bystander of the fashion world, I couldn’t be happier and more proud than seeing great designers being worn by such a fierce, amazing woman! Isn’t she something else? How many products in your makeup kit are without harmful components? We talked about this in the past and here I am, pointing out again, that not everything we put on our skin is without consequences.

A recent study has been conducted by the Environmental Defence Canada through the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics on popular brands like Laura Mercier, L’Oreal, MAC, Mary Kay, Sephora. The conclusions were rather sad, needless to say only one product from the 49 was free of possibly poisonous metal (the product is Annabelle Mineral Pigment Dust Solar). From the studied makeup products, there was one which detached itself with 110ppm level of lead, ten times higher than the limit set by Health Canada. And that product is Benefit Benetint Lip Gloss! Did you miss a good Angelina Jolie moment? (joking) Angelina is having a huge fashion moment on the Red Carpet. Premiering The Tree of Life in LA, Angelina was wearing a bold red dress!

The one shoulder wonder without the dramatic leg slit we were already used to see comes from Jenny Packham and is part of the house’s Fall Winter 2011 collection. Angelina seems to be the true star of the Tree of Life premiere, although this should be Brad Pitt‘s place since he is the star of the flick. So how do you like Angelina Jolie wearing bright colors?
