Tavi’s L’Officiel Paris October 2011 Cover
September 22nd, 2011 by kpriss
Is this Tavi Gevinson‘s first official magazine cover? It’s delicious! She’s looking as trendy as a Chanel clown, with a fancy curtain bow on top! Quirky, fun, a showstopper!
However, if the general public isn’t familiar with Tavi, they might frown and look away from L’Officiel Paris October 2011. The cover itself reads Tavi (blogger, 15 years old) by Jean – Paul Goude so they may be gently introduced to the new cover star, a fashion geek par excellence! You go, Tavi! Show them how it’s done! How do you like her?
Roncato’s I Love Shopping Luggage
September 22nd, 2011 by kpriss
Do you worry your luggage will be mixed and mistaken with other’s at the terminal? While you’re impatiently waiting for your suitcase, don’t you ever think about getting another’s? or that another person could take your suitcase for his / hers? I sometimes do that. I know I should bring some personality to my luggage, something to make it stand out, to make it unique. And still I don’t. And no, it hasn’t crossed my mind to buy the LV initials suitcase. I mean… it’s effective and stylish but I have my heart set on a car, not on a suitcase with the price of a car…
Long story short: Italian luggage brand Roncato has released a limited edition luggage collection with the prestigious Parisian Galeries Lafayette. The suitcases look deliciously retro and hardly unnoticeable. Want to make a fashion statement? Try the “I love shoppin” suitcase! (seriously, how do you pick your luggage?)
Louboutin Shoes: Are They Really Worth The Money And The Buzz?
September 20th, 2011 by kpriss
We’ve all followed the news and found out how Christian Louboutin is fighting to protect their red soles. For that’s what the world has come to: fighting not for the quality but for the appearance of merchandise. Subjective, I know, but you know it’s out there!
Another thing about the famed Louboutin shoes, besides their red soles? Their price. You know that if you want a piece of that red sole, you’ll have to pay dearly for a chance to wear it down. Well, my daahlings, since I never owned a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes and I cannot speak from my personal experience, I have to share another’s direct interactions with the Louboutins.
And, sadly, there was not a happy experience (you can read all about it here). It would appear that the $900 Christian Louboutin ankle boots were worn out at the end of an 8 – hour wear day! A single, first day of wearing the Louboutin booties and they were completely wrecked (check out the zipper, not to mention the heel)! And yes, they were the real deal! (unless Bergdorf sells fakes) How do you weigh in? (see larger images by clicking on the picture, also check out the worn out Loubs after the jump!)
Missoni For Target Gone Wrong
September 20th, 2011 by kpriss
As you all know, the fabulous Missoni for Target collection made so many zig zagued dreams possible. And we all love a good dose of precious Missoni zigzag, don’t we?
It would appear that some love it (way) more than others as a picture with a woman manifesting a serious case of Missoni for Target overload makes the rounds of the interwebs. There’s a reason these pieces are sold separately, wouldn’t you say? All in all, she’s one of the lucky owners of clearly more than one Missoni for Target item (it’s safe to say that jealousy is making us frown at her outfit)! Those colorful wellies have my heart! Do you think she made a good style decision when she matched Missoni with Missoni in just one sitting?
Burberry Spring Summer 2012 Collection
September 20th, 2011 by kpriss
Fashion Week doesn’t wait for no Emmy after party jet lag (not that I was experiencing any, but I was playing make believe – wink). Burberry Spring Summer 2012 is already up and flowing through the veins of the world’s fashionistas. For it was a wonderful show, filled with inspiring designs and colorful shapes and wearable sartorial moves.
The diversity and the home – made feeling of SS 2012 Burberry catwalk made my heart sing and my review is filled with pictures. For I couldn’t really make up my mind what to choose and which design is more appealing. What I loved more about Burberry’s collection is that it’s less seasonal than it should. It’s more like an every / any season wear collection. Is it not? (click through for more looks, the entire collection here)
Rafa Nadal’s Underwear: Emporio Armani
September 20th, 2011 by kpriss
He may have lost to Novak Djokovic in the US Open final only a week ago, but Rafael Nadal is back for Emporio Armani. Wearing nothing more than his underwear, Rafa is ready to enchant the entire world’s female population. And I’m sure he won’t fail in doing just that!
(I just wish he’d smile? There may be something wrong with me, but I love it when people smile! I think they look way more beautiful when they smile! Am I the only one who thinks that way?)

2011 Emmy Awards Hairstyle: The Bob
September 19th, 2011 by kpriss
If there’s one hairstyle you can’t do without on the Red Carpet, it’s the Bob. The 2011 Emmy Awards showcased the versatile hairdo in so many ways on so many beautiful ladies, I decided it was grand time I give this bob cut full credits.
Although I’m not completely eliminating the possibility that all these fine ladies had visited the same hairdresser/s, one cannot help but think about a sweet bob chop. It looks so feminine and it frames the face so nicely in all lengths and variations. Take for instance Lena Headey, one of my favorite actresses out there, she reminds me of Wynona, and that’s only her hair’s doing. Olivia Munn is a stunner with that tan, green Carolina Herrera dress and lovely, lovely bob. (click through to see the rest!)

2011 Emmy Awards Coral Dresses: Sofia Vergara’s Vera Wang, Sarah Hyland’s Christian Siriano
September 19th, 2011 by kpriss
The 2011 Emmy Awards Ceremony was all about Modern Family. The beloved TV series has won four Emmys (remember we talked about two of them earlier with Claire and Phil Dunphy’s won). Highlighting Julie Bowen calls for another Modern Family ladies talk!
Sofia Vergara and Sarah Hyland graced the 2011 Emmys Red Carpet both wearing coral dresses. The gorgeous Sofia Vergara was wearing a custom made coral Vera Wang mermaid-ish dress while the lovely Sarah Hyland donned a Grecian style coral dress from Christian Siriano. They were both Modern and their dresses were in the now very trendy coral Family. Can you pick a favorite? (I can’t!)
