An Angel’s Closet. Victoria’s Secret Erin Heatherton Opens Up Her Wardrobe
November 27th, 2011 by kpriss
Something about a sparkling turquoise mermaid costume, 100 bras and an impressive collection of couture shoes should remind us about Erin Heatherton and Lindsay Ellingson. Both Erin and Lindsay are two of my favorite Victoria’s Secret angels. That alone justifies my talking about them.
However, I wanted to throw something else in the game too – girls talking about their wardrobes. Don’t tell me you never asked yourselves how does a model’s closet look like! I know I did. They get access to catwalk fashion firsthand, they get to travel the world, they must be loving fashion and style, hence their wardrobes must be magical!
From the looks of it (pictured below is Erin Heatherton’s closet), it’s just as normal as yours and mine. Okay, maybe a bit bigger. Okay. A lot bigger. She seems to have a museum – type of wardrobe – the kind you only walk into and not wear often. What’s your wardrobe like?
Rachel Bilson Designs Shoes With Steve Madden!
November 27th, 2011 by kpriss
It’s been long since our last report on celebrities fashion enterprises – it’s that time of the year again! Rachel Bilson? Remember her? She used to be der Kaiser’s protegee and now she’s back in the spotlight with a new TV Series (which could get interesting ratings – Hart of Dixie? Are you familiar with it? I’ve seen the trailer and I admit I was curious to see more, it’s one of those warm TV series about people living in small country towns – and that I love, that I live).
Also, Rachel Bilson is allegedly designing a shoes collection! With her stylist and Steve Madden. It’s an interesting “designing” concept. But hey, I’m willing to give her credit for it, at least she doesn’t sit around wasting her paychecks. She’s investing herself in fashion. Will you buy shoes from Rachel Bilson? (what if you didn’t know Steve Madden was involved, would you still buy Rachel Bilson shoes?)
Candice Swanepoel’s Hair Is Naturally Curly
November 25th, 2011 by kpriss
You may say to yourself right now – why this? Why do I choose to talk about Candice Swanepoel’s hair instead of … well, anything about Candice (her tiny waist, her thin frame, her Victoria’s Secret wings)?
Well, my daaahlings, that’s simply because I think there’s not enough coverage on natural hair nowadays. Everyone is striving so hard to reshape, reinvent, replace their natural hair that an alarmingly high percentage of women ends up admitting that they’re completely unsatisfied with their natural hair. How is that even possible? Why would we consciously opt out living in peace with our God given hair? I always thought that embracing and loving who you really are is the key to a better living. To a better you.
Embrace your natural hair! It will repay your love, I’m certain! Now let’s get back to Candice – did you know she has naturally curly hair?
Johnny Cash God’s Gonna Cut You Down
November 25th, 2011 by kpriss
Have I ever told you how much I like Johnny Cash’s music? I do. I sooooo do! And maybe it’s not even his music that I like but his voice? The man had this amazing, unearthly voice that can reach deep within me. It’s something Justin Bieber could never do (ha!).
Johnny Cash’s version of God’s Gonna Cut You Down will always be my favorite rendition of the popular song! I realize the message can come as pretty radical for this special time, however, I’m hoping you’ll still appreciate the song for its musical value and also for the famous faces that were brought together for the video! Ladies and gents, Johnny Cash!
A Different, Wicked Adriana Lima. By Ellen Von Unwerth
November 24th, 2011 by kpriss
I tried to source this out and I swamped. I’m bringing it as it is, trying to make the most out of it. Visually.
Adriana Lima, as we’re used to seeing her (aka a Victoria’s Secret Angel, mainly) is merely a memory in this pictorial. Like another life – memory. Ellen Von Unwerth has these magic abilities to make you see things you normally wouldn’t notice or imagine; to bring out the sparkle in any scene. And that just by using a camera. Truly a gifted photographer! It’s like her pictures speak, reach out and occupy your mind.
Adriana Lima, my dahlings, is all Girl, Interrupted here. And I don’t mind her short hair and crazy antics. Shedding your Angel wings must be as painful and as wicked as depicted here. Anyone familiar with these images?
Delicate Vintage Party Dresses For Special Occasions
November 23rd, 2011 by kpriss
The celebration spirit got to me! Finally! (I’ll get back on that “finally” later on) I found these two lovely dresses today I absolutely want you to see! I paired them with some shoes too, but you know, it’s up to you – all the styling liberty to mix and match, to change up, dress up or down a certain garment.
I’m always for the dress down, but every now and then, I have to trade my comfy jeans & converse (or biker boots, it’s a question of season) for a dress and high heels. And, although you may think different, I love the dress situation! Take these two beauties here: one of them (the one with the sparkling embroidery) is alarmingly similar to one of the dresses I wore for my wedding. I guess you can technically call it “wedding dress”, even if it’s more unconventional.
Would You Listen To Gaga This Christmas?
November 23rd, 2011 by kpriss
I was just looking for some more Christmas music to add to our usual Christmas playlist and I found this rather disturbing piece of news saying that Gaga has a Christmas album going out this week.
Lady Gaga. Christmas Caroling. Really disturbing. Listening to White Christmas won’t be the same anymore, now that my ears have listened to her Gaganess! She even added more lyrics to the song because, she said, it was too short (you can hear her singing by clicking here)! You know, Gaga, there’s a reason to keep it so short – to make it more pleasurable. You should try it, sometimes! (keeping it short). So would you Listen to Gaga this Christmas?

Twilight’s Bella Swan’s Wedding Dress Replica Looks Just Like The Original
November 23rd, 2011 by kpriss
I may have told you before that I knew nothing of the Twilight saga previous to the making of the Twilight movies. Which can be good and bad. Also, we’re purposely not watching any trailers prior to watching the actual movie (that’s for any movie, not just Twilight). So we can see the movie for the first time and get an impression first hand, not from the too commercial teasers.
And this is how we went to see Twilight’s Breaking Dawn part one. I’m aware that most of the reviews are negative and I may get some raised eyebrows for saying this, but I stand by my belief: it was beautiful! Kristen Stewart really played her part and she was great at it! I’m not a Twi hard, not a fan, but not an all round pretentious movie – consumer. Now before rushing into any spoilers myself, I’ll get straight to the subject: Bella’s wedding dress! These are some fragments, details of the dress she was wearing in the movie (yes, I realize it’s hard to tell from the pictures below, but these are the only ones I found). Click through to discover the replica!
