Now that I just talked about how surprised I was about Adele’s Grammy dress, I’d like to show you another unexpected Red Carpet appearance at tonight’s 2013 Grammy Awards: Karlie Kloss! Did you know she was there?

Lean and gorgeous looking Karlie was wearing an electric blue cutout dress from Michael Kors. A dress she actually wore on the catwalk, wrapping up the designers Spring Summer 2013 Ready to Wear collection. Only the original catwalk design was equally cutout but in a maxi length and another color (black).

Talking about her: Adele! I’m so happy she’s one of the 2013 Grammy winners! Not that the other girls nominated in her Best Pop Solo Performance weren’t just as worthy, but I have this particularly soft spot for Adele – plus we just re-watched together her Royal Albert Hall Set Fire To The Rain performance. So emotional. So powerful!

But what about Adele’s red flowery dress? Pretty unexpected choice, as far as I’m concerned. I was used to seeing Adele in black dresses, dramatic, retro gowns and this one – although charmingly retro – is more joyful than what she used to wear on the Red Carpet.

Now that’s something we don’t get to see every day! Beyonce wearing pants for an official event! And she even got to walk home with a trophy! Winner of the Best Traditional R&B Performance for her Love on Top song (I’d grace that with a traditional fitness routine award for the specific video – if you think I’m kidding, get your r&b on after the jump!)

Back to Beyonce’s 2013 Grammy outfit now: she was wearing a custom made black and white jumpsuit from the label Osman Studio. As you can see from the pictures, she has tweaked and personalized her outfit to fit her body best.

I think it’s safe to say that Taylor Swift may have a weakness for white dresses as this is the third white gown she’s wearing for a major official event this year! Not to mention that she’s one of the winners at tonight’s 2013 Grammy Awards ceremony!

Taylor Swift’s J. Mendel white Grecian dress was coherently followed by an all white ensemble for her stage Grammy performance. Something pulled out of a Alice in Wonderland visits the Circus party with a serious Shania Twain aftertaste.

So that makes it official then? Rihanna and her boyfriend, Chris Brown, attended the 2013 Grammy Awards ceremony. That kind of addresses all those ‘back together or not’ rumors and questioning once and for all.

I’d like to put the winners – thing behind me for a moment now and concentrate on something really surprising on the 2013 BAFTA Awards Red Carpet. Helen Mirren. She’s always flawlessly styled and perfectly elegant. And while this time she was no different from her usually fashionable self, Helen Mirren decided to surprise us all with a new hairdo.

A new hair color, actually. Helen Mirren’s pink hair was pretty much the main attraction on the BAFTA’s Red Carpet. It’s not everyday that you get to see such a classy lady with cotton candy hair! Contrasting her pink hair, Helen Mirren was wearing a Nicholas Oakwell soft gray dress (from the Spring 2013 Haute Couture collection) which she fully enjoyed, spinning around for the cameras.

I did mention something about not being happy with the 2013 BAFTA Awards winners, haven’t I? Who was my favorite? Jennifer Lawrence, of course. I really think she should’ve won. But then again, hard work has to be rewarded as well, and Anne Hathaway tried really hard to make a believable Fantine.

I still think Jennifer should’ve won, though. Now: about the dress she was wearing tonight! Jennifer Lawrence is one of the Dior girls now and as such, she was wearing a Dior Haute Couture soft pink dress with large sequins gradient embellishments cascading down her dress.

So how about some Red Carpet glamour, huh? You knew it was coming – with the 2013 BAFTA Awards and the 2013 Grammy Awards happening almost at the same time? Really sets those camera flashes on fire!

I have to say a word or two about the 2013 BAFTA Awards fashion parade, as disappointed as I am about the actual outcome of the Awards show (the winners, that is). I loved Anne Hathaway’s Burberry black studded dress! I loved her hair – it made her look youthful and framed her face nicely.
