I was really curious who’d rock the Haute Couture 2009 collection from Christian Lacroix! Now I know – there’s no one who’ll do it better than Tilda!
Tilda Swinton appeared brighter and cheerful than ever with a colorful rainbow dress by Christian Lacroix from his eclectic Spring 2009 Haute Couture collection. She was invited to the 34th César ceremony to present an award. What’s there to add, really? She looked radiant, impeccable, every inch Tilda, every inch great! (I can’t believe it’s me saying that! Few months ago, I couldn’t even stomach her, let alone praise her fashion choices!) How does she look to you? (photos via style.com, hipcelebrity)

Tilda can wear anything! A Burlap sack with a dental floss belt… Anything! I am glad that you have become a Tildaite Kpriss! She is amazing!
This dress is striking and a work of art but only a few could wear it. I feel that the only people who could wear this dress and get away with it are Tilda because she is Tilda, Daphne Guinness because she is known for her stylish luxe quirky style and Bjork because its expected of her to wear something like this but maybe with a stork on her head!
Oh and before I get yelled at I adore Bjork and her music!
Stork head pieces for everyone! : )
And this Tilda fan needed shades for that rainbow dress and doesn’t like this dress at all not on Tilda and not on the model either….but hey, never mind, next time better. Tilda is great and everyone is allowed to make “mistakes”. As this one is for me.
Ellington, I’d never yell at people and their music taste. Never ever. I do respect these. Music is more than music to a lot off people, it has often a place or/and a meaning in someone’s life you see.
I am fan of Bjork, her music and her style.
So off topic: I’m in love with Prada’s Fall high-water-boots!!! Have you girls see those? I want them. Wheres my sugar daddy???
I wish she had worn one of the necklaces
I think the ensemble looks much better on the Runway. Had Swinton adorned herself a little more, it might work better.
It’s not Tilda’s ‘mistake’: it’s Lacroix’s.
The dress is ab-so-lute-ly ABOMINABLE.
