Miley Cyrus Most Fashionable Outfit.Not

I tried to find a comparison for Miley Cyrus’ outfit. And my mind kept wondering in the dangerous vicinity of Lindsay Lohan’s most stylish wardrobe.

So I’m bringing this to your attention also. Because we were all there, in our troubled, revolutionary teens years and so is Miley. Only Miley can do better. Should do much better than wearing those paint splashed ripped jeans and that slouchy torn top. Oh wait! I think I know now: she got it from H & M, special delivery, night time, in a dark obscure alley, the unsold torn and thrown away special collection. Didn’t you, Miley? From the front her outfit looks cute and okay, but when she turns around…ye gads! :P

#2 Kyle Webs on 02.09.10 at 1:13 pm

It’s okay….until she turned around.

Love her outfit. And she only shows her back, and that’s OK until she wears something under this blouse like she does. It’s totally cute and fine. If anyone has something bad to say about this picture, it’s only because he hates her and is totally jealous of her body and style.

Sorry Monni but your reasoning is lame and false.
Why is it if someone says that they do not care for a person’s outfit, songs, acting or whatever they are automatically jealous?!! It could just be as simple as they do not like the outfit etc… . Your reasoning is akin to someone saying that they do not care for the colour blue or how blue looks on people, walls etc… so therefore they MUST BE JEALOUS OF THE COLOUR BLUE!!!*

I am not jealous of Miley Cyrus, and I do not think that Kyle Webbs is jealous of her either. Yes I do not care for her music, but to each their own, and yes I still stick by what I said about her outfit. It is cute in the front but when she turns around it is tragic.

* a simple analogy but I find that I have to keep things simple in order for some to understand.

I am so sorry for the snark but I just cannot abide this jank reasoning others give for someone not liking their beloved artist. It is just tired. Not everyone has to love what you love or like what you like. And they are not jealous, idiots, or any other invective or obscenity the objectors care to throw at the dissenters. Just try to agree to disagree, or try to use logic, reasoning and persuasive arguments to show why we should change or minds or see your point of view. Don’t name call and swear!

Ellington, it’s the internet style: if you don’t like someone’s idol, whoever it is, you’re gonna be called a hater or/and you’re jealous and bashed in all sort of ways. I’ve tried to participate on a music forum: well, I’m so finished with forums and their posters….sighs….you would be in shock what those people write and you’ve to face terrible accusations and names addressed to you on your screen while safe at home. It’s awful and pathetic. I believe it’s better to ignore such posters. It’s a waste of time. :P

That top and her jeans look ridiculous in my opinion. Forgot to mention it.

#7 Ellington on 02.27.10 at 12:02 pm

Yes Adriana, you are right but I just could not stand it anymore and I had to say something even if it falls on deaf ears.
I am just tired of the stupid hate, swearing and abuse from others if you say that you do not care for Miley, Lady Gaga, Twilight or whom ever else is the flavour of the moment.

But you are right my friend…thanks. :)

I appreciate your reasoning Ellington and I am particularly impressed by your refusal to use crude language etc however remember that your own comments unwittingly irk people too ;) In many of your comments I think you are coming across as a bit of a self-righteous prig. I’m sorry to name-call but in this case, I can’t resist! It is the impression I get from your commentary style.
Lecturing people is pointless in the face of freedom of speech – let them have their say even if you think they sound immature and rude. Some people just ARE rude and immature. I myself have my moments and a forum like this can be a fun way to let those immature opinions out – in an unprofessional, accountable environment, so to speak.
Perhaps what I’m really suggesting is that you stop spoiling other people’s fun and relaxed expression by criticising what they say.

I meant to say ‘unaccountable’

#10 cc on 03.22.10 at 7:27 pm

I agree with the relaxed environment point – God, if we can’t relax and vent our frustrations online, where else can we?

#11 Kathleen on 03.22.10 at 10:20 pm

Monnis comment was pretty dumb ya gotta admit. I like Mileys outfit – shes young and can pull it off. No one would look twice at this look in a club – she would look downright pedestrian. I like the paint-splattered pants!!!

#12 ladi6 on 03.22.10 at 10:22 pm

Go Mileeeeeey! xoxoxoxo

#13 Ellington on 03.23.10 at 12:31 pm

If you read me as coming across as a “self-righteous prig” that is your reading of my words and your way of seeing it. Fair enough.
Funnily enough when I read your comments I see the same thing in you. Is that not interesting?
I would never want nor wish to spoil anyone’s fun. I just simply cannot abide rudeness, or lame arguments or statements.
They say what they wish and in response so do I. It is an open forum (at Kpriss’ discretion of course).
Or are you just trying to spoil only my fun?
;)

#14 cc on 03.23.10 at 3:16 pm

No – I don’t mean to spoil your fun. Your comments seem to lack self-awareness at times so I thought I’d give you a friendly heads-up. Yes – I suppose I’ve sounded priggish in my comments at times (I do have strong opinions) but I don’t pick holes in the way other people express themselves – their choice of language etc. That is what I call self-righteousness.

#15 Ellington on 03.23.10 at 3:45 pm

Righttt…
Just who is responding to me?
(a)cc or (b)RSr??!! Or are you(d) all of the above? If you are separate entities, mea culpa.

I am not self-aware??!
Fascinating. ; )

And to you cc I will reiterate what you wrote:
“God, if we can’t relax and vent our frustrations online, where else can we?”

My frustration(s) are disrespectfully language, jank and weak arguments and statements, and sometimes poor grammar.
But as much as they do peeve me a tad they do not keep me up at night. ; )

Best wishes sincerely to you (both?)

Hepburn :)

#16 cc on 03.23.10 at 5:54 pm

OOPS! Sorry – I’ve been drinking heavily, darling! But no I’ve not been up all night – you have heard of a lovely little place called the Southern Hemisphere haven’t you?

#17 cc on 03.23.10 at 6:01 pm

Alcohol and creative writing do not always mix!

#18 Ellington on 03.23.10 at 6:05 pm

cc I do hope that you are having a good time of it, and that you do not suffer a hangover! : )
Oh, I am sorry if I did not make myself completely clear but “the up all night” was in regards to myself as I have no idea where you are writing from.

#19 cc on 03.23.10 at 6:41 pm

Apologies again. No more White Russians!
I like the ref to Hepburn – K or A -both lovely!

#20 Ellington on 03.23.10 at 6:54 pm

White Russians! The favourite beverage of choice of “The Dude”!
I Love “The Big Lowbowski”!!!

As for the Hepburn sign off. That is my other name, I signed off with it by accident.
Yes I too adore both Audrey and Kate! They were both wonderful, beautiful, stylish, strong, lovely women and stellar actors! Two of my sheroes!
: )

Chivalrous! And hilarious! Yes – no more spoiling each other’s fun :) :)

#22 Kajhdom! on 05.31.10 at 8:24 am

Ellington, are you like this argumentative all the time, or is this just your special season? Cuz if you are the first one, then you g2 b a laywer girl. But…. if this is your special season, what are your other seasons called?

#23 Kajhdom! on 05.31.10 at 8:29 am

As far the Miley’s outfit goes, she got it from H & M, special delivery, night time, in a dark obsecure alley, the unsold torn and thrown away special collection.

If Miley reads this, she will be scared of me and ask me if I am a phsycic.

#24 Adriana on 06.01.10 at 11:41 am

I received some time no subscriptions. What’s going on here? Is this YouTube or something?
“God, if we can’t relax and vent our frustrations online, where else can we?” Well, find a good friend, a new lover, a therapist, a counselor or the AA??? :D

#25 LiLy on 07.17.10 at 3:35 pm

i think it’s a really cute outfit the pants are just fine the shirts the problem. :-D

#26 Haruhi on 11.04.10 at 4:32 pm

… What on earth is that? It can’t possibly be a shirt…. I should think a celebrity would know better than to go out in public looking like that. The jeans might have looked okay… with a top… but this monstrosity, which doesn’t even qualify as a piece of clothing, ruins the entire outfit. She also should have more discretion when choosing accessories- it looks as if she’s trying too hard.

#27 pashmina on 11.12.10 at 6:30 pm

I like the comment in your link “whilst fellow customers stared her down”…. surely they’re just wondering what the @#$! she’s wearing!

#28 Lalia on 05.06.11 at 5:01 am

what i find weird is how fat she looks from the back.. she’s got some love handles!

#29 Veronika on 06.10.11 at 4:04 pm

Maybe Miley Cyrus had been burning… poor girl.
