You may safely go ahead and declare this the Chanel day. This is another topic about the French label’s products and may not be the last before the day is over! Because we all know Karl Lagerfeld is one of the most lucrative designers with a lot on his plate, constantly. Therefore, we too have a lot to discuss about Karl’s doings.
One of his latest fashion enterprises involves Chanel accessories (again) and the beautiful Laetitia Casta. She’s advocating for the new sunglasses and eyeglasses Chanel collection in a series of black and white photos shot by – who else? – der Kaiser!
It just occurred to me while reading wwd’s report on this matter: since Karl Lagerfeld keeps his sunglasses on even during the photo shoots (he’s behind the camera, taking the pictures, with his shades on, mind you!) it’s simpler to keep them black&white as he wouldn’t see the right colors anyway!
