Milan again, you’d ask! Well yes, it appears that the most interesting things happen in Europe during the Holidays season! The most expensive Christmas tree in Europe ($450,000) was placed atop a Holiday Tiffany Boutique in Milan, Italy.
All sounds great, except the wonderful Christmas tree and the jewelry pop up store were placed in the Piazza Duomo, a step away from the church. Which, of course, sprung numerous negative reactions. Which, of course, were put to peace by Tiffany who will donate 9% of its sales (appx $131,000 minimum) to LILT (nonprofit cancer research organization) and to Venerada Fabbrica del Duomo. Peace and faith through charity. Yay! (via, photos via 1, 2)
