How could a Steven Meisel – shot Vogue cover look wrong? It’s a star maker, a cover star maker. Now take that, add Gisele Bundchen to the sauce and you’ve got yourself a winner Vogue Italy December 2010 cover!
Shot in black and white and followed by an equally b & w pictorial, the new Gisele Bundchen extravaganza feels like her most important appearance since Vogue US (we’re talking in post baby issues, biensur). And there’s something about her Rubber Soul pictorial that brings a new light on Gisele the doll. Changing expressions and stretching her usual portfolio, it’s surely something good coming from Gisele the supermodel Bundchen. Would you say she’s a better model here or in her usual poses?
