Not one of Meryl Streep’s award receiving moments is a dull one! And thankfully so, because Meryl Streep’s and Sandra Bullock’s kiss will now enter the stage-kiss-walk of fame!
Meryl Streep won the Best Actress Critics’ Choice Award 2010 for her wonderful performance in Julie & Julia. She shared the honors with Sandra Bullock who also received an award in the same category for her role in The Blind Side. Put the two together on a stage and you’ve got this amazing surprise, a playful moment of kiss and make up for the viewers pleasure! One to enter the stage kisses history alongside Madonna’s with Britney and Xtina (MTV’s VMA 2003), Halle Berry’s with Jamie Foxx (Spike Awards 2009) or even Angelina Jolie’s with her brother Haven (Oscars 2000). I’m still unable to say if the entire scene was staged or not, after all, actors are actors… But the truth is that this kiss was the highlight of the even, beyond the actual awards! And it could have been worse, judging by Sandra Bullock’s hunger! Such dedication is rare to find! (photos via)

Anyway, I saw a video of this happen. It was hardly one second and the girls (sorry, the elderly women above 50 ) were just kidding. It was funny. These two can make people laugh. That’s such a great quality. So they can “mouthing along” on my account!
This was more fun than the Madonna/Christina/Britney kiss.
Meryl is on gonna beat Katherine Hepburn with her awards! She’s great how can one not love Meryl?
Love Meryl and I like Sandra, they are both seem like real and lovely women and do a great job in their respective roles and genres.
As for award kisses, you can tell that this was just done for the fun of it, it made me laugh when I saw it, rather that go “how lame” when Madonna, Christina and Britney “made out” for all the world to see. They were trying to be provocative and they just looked sad.

Na, I don’t really like stage kisses. It’s all so emotional and hasty in the spotlight. Even this time, it all went down in less than 2 seconds yet the photographs make it look like they kisses at least three hours! ;) Meryl even tried to dodge there, you saw her hesitating and going for the cheek kiss at first?
