Sandra Bullock is one of the winners at this year’s 15th edition of the Critics’ Choice Awards, 2010! She won an award for her performance in the Blind Side (a surprisingly well received movie at the box office: Sandra Bullock’s football drama is the first female lead flick to win more than $200 million in box office earnings).
And though Sandra Bullock is a charming woman, her outfit choices leave me baffled most of the time! This black Alberta Ferretti corset dress she had on wasn’t really the perfect little black dress of the night (at least those Casadei platforms saved the day)! Cast your vote right after the first image! (the story continues right after the jump with more images, click here for the gallery!)
With elements from past collection (think 2008-past), this heavily draped black corset dress isn’t the best Alberta Ferretti design. And if it’s a custom made, it’s all wrong. It emphasizes Sandra’s curves but not in a good way: it only adds more volume and flattens all out at the same time! The sparkling details don’t help either and the fringe finish crowns it all in a truly unhappy ending! Special mention to the side swept hair do – it may just be the next big Red Carpet hair-thing! I can’t vote. It’s Sandra. Not the greatest actress around but so enjoyable to watch. I like her. No, I’m not fond of this dress or this dress on her but I don’t hate it and those stylists make a lot of mistakes too. Sandra looks usually casual dressed so pretty, so comfortable….she won the Critics Choice Award? That’s what counts for me. :)
I like Sandra, she is good at what she does and I usually enjoy her films. I like this dress on her, and I do not find it granny like at all. It is tasteful and she looks like a real person. :)
