Leica M7 Hermès, The Christmas Gift For Photography Passionate Fashionistas

Now this is the perfect gift for the fashionistas playing around with their camera! The Leica M7 Edition Hermès is the second edition from the very exquisite collaboration between camera maker extraordinaire, Leica and leather brand extraordinaire, Hermès! (the first one was launched in 2003).

Only 200 cameras are available (100 each color), each carrying a unique serial number on. I won’t steal the aesthetic pleasure by giving you too much technical specification. (the story continues right after the jump!)

Just know this: the Leica M7 comes with wide angle lens, a silver anodized Leica Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4 ASPH, the leather on the camera matches the leather strap in trademark Hermès orange or light brown. It’s the latest in camera fashion, but would you pay $12,000 for one Hermès Leica? (via)

I still love my normal typical digital camera and an old Polaroid.

I guess it’s a must if one already has the Hermes helicopter and the Hermes Bugatti… You can just throw in the Hermes Leica and forget the $12,000 thing in the gloves compartment like it was nothing!

As opposed to my gifted and passionate Husband, I’m a point-and-shoot girl! Give me a camera, but just make one button to it, please! Simple as a glass of water – there’s just one way to empty it!

Daydreamer, hold on to that! They don’t make Polaroids anymore! :(

I miss my Polaroid, I know we can use our cell phones now but it’s not the same thing and I’ve not a cell phone with a camera. Ouch!
Like the retro look also but feeling the price tag…..Maybe for Brooklyn Beckham as a Christmas present?

Brooklyn? isn’t that the one with the break dancing schemes? (I’m ashamed! I must go review my Beckham dictionary! ;) )

Camera phones will never replace Polaroids! They’re a cultural fact by now. The simple fact of taking a Polaroid picture is an artsy doing. Oh, I so wish they didn’t stop making those! Or find a way to make them profitable again! I don’t remember what was that pulled them off production, I’ll check that out and see what I can come up with!

Ah, it was not nice of me to mention Brooklyn Beckham. He’s the eldest son and he looks always kinda unhappy, unless he’s together with his dad, than he looks happy but still so serious. They youngest is the break dancer and the clown. The one in the middle is the most handsome and is named Romeo but he seems to have a disease the poor kid. Why do I know all this? It are such cute kids and I feel always so sorry for celeb kids….can’t help it….silly me…..

Yeah, we’ve to check it out about Polaroids. The excitement of waiting while waving them dry!! But all my polaroids are faded….:((

It’s sad they don’t make the film anymore but I so love them. I love the faded color of the film after time. It’s classic and memorable.
