Natalie Portman In Pink Rodarte Dress For 2009 Oscars

Natalie Portman remains faithful to her Rodarte dresses and goes for a pink gems studded Rodarte draped dress for tonight’s 2009 Oscars.

She looks pretty like a princess from neck down, but so very contrasting with her gaunt, vamp-ish face! She put on her favorite lilac makeup and heavy mascara. Not to forget she had a perfectly swept back hair, just like they like it for this Oscars Ceremony! Is it just me, or did Natalie lost some weight there? (photos via celebutopia)

The colour of her dress is pretty, its rather spring looking in tone to me.
I like Nathalie Portman but I think that she just looks okay. So far none of the dresses that I have seen on your blog Kpriss have made me say that’s FABU! The dresses so far have left me rather nonplus.

Ellington, all these dresses looks “different” to me on photos and on the ladies. See them move, walk and talk is so different!
I like this dress a lot and I liked it on Natalie. One of our faves. Yes, gorgeous indeed.
Kpriss, alas she was too thin. I agree. But isn’t she always that thin?

(Off to the dentist. Oscars were from 1.00am until 6.15am here and so I’m dead tired but so inspired to comment on everything……arrgghhh…)

I would like to know where I can purchase this dress and about how much it is?

Annie and Sandy, you can call Rodarte directly for more details : more information here

Adriana I was under the impression that she was thinner than her average.. But maybe that’s just me…

Ellington, which one was your favorite dress?

I would have to say that now that it is all over and from a striking design big night dress point of view I would have to say that I liked Marisa Tomei’s dress. It looked beautiful on her and with all the folds and tucks it looked like art to me. I also liked (from the photos that I saw) what she wore for the Golden Globes. She was two for two for me.

Marisa Tomei was the star for me on all Award fronts, the acting, the clothing, the personality, all off it! She’s one off the less natural looking women in Hollywood. Intelligent and cute. Keeps herself in shape with her hoola-hoop! Seriously. I’ve found vids on YouTube where she shows Ellen DeGeneres how she do that. WOW!

Yes, that white Versace dress was like art. Like the highest form of origami in fashion…..

Gwen x:
I read the comments again and can only come to the conclusion that the word “haters” and being “ugly to people” seems to be the IT thing on the interwebs! How sad! :((

Gwen x: What on Earth are you on about?!
Firstly I suggest that you re-read what was written and comprehend it and secondly I would recommend that you practice your grammar and spelling.

Adrianna, you are right about this pandemic of being an ignorant, rude, cyber-bully. It seems to be de rigueur. It is sad. :(
