Louis Vuitton Soundwalk China
May 14th, 2008 by kpriss
If the Kaiser does it, then so should Marc Jacobs, right? So Louis Vuitton is setting cap for MP3 Power.
Louis Vuitton Soundwalk is an audio guide project and it involves three famous actresses (or their voices, to be more accurate) and $17 for download (each, on louisvuittonsoundwalk.com). Gong Li will guide your steps in Beijing, Joan Chen in Shanghai and Shu Qi in Kong Kong. It’s an Olympic LV Flame, of course…

Octopus Jewelry Made From Real Octopus
May 13th, 2008 by kpriss
I don’t know about you, but when I looked at these pictures, I felt the salty sea taste in my mouth! And not because I’m a big fan, I assure you! I like the sea just because the kids like it so much!
The OctopusME earrings are made from actual octopus and solid sterling silver with no Octopus remains in the jewelry. Maybe given the gothic trend breezing the fashion, these pieces of jewelry will have many admirers. I thing I’ll stick to Sushi…

Sarah Jessica Parker US Vogue June 2008 By Annie Leibovitz
May 13th, 2008 by kpriss
I guess today I can let myself SATC go.. Since everyone will talk about it to exhaustion, let’s waste the subject!
Soooo, Sarah Jessica Parker on US Vogue cover for June! Refreshingly old, refreshingly bad looking, refreshingly gross pose all signed gloriously by Annie Leibovitz. It wasn’t that long that I asked myself (and everyone else) what was the story with the Miley Vanity Fair’s pictures, now this?! Well, Annie middle-name-Controversy Leibovitz, hasn’t this movie had enough publicity already? They felt you could be helpful? Then something’s wrong with the movie…(or with Sarah? You judge, after seeing both pictures!)
Cynthia Nixon In Calvin Klein At Sex And The City The Movie London Premiere
May 13th, 2008 by kpriss
Even if it’s a black dress (and I don’t like the safe, dull, unoriginal black dresses for an event), Cynthia’s Calvin Klein choice was stunning.
Yes, it’s a bit far taken with the plunging décolleté but she pulls it like a queen. Nothing disgraceful in my opinion. The only thing not matching her is her face. She has an unconfident and absent expression. In fact, all three (besides SJP) girls don’t look like they really enjoy posing at this world premiere.

Kristen Davis In Vintage Guy Laroche Couture At Sex And The City The Movie London Premiere
May 13th, 2008 by kpriss
Another red dress for the Red Carpet at the world’s premiere of Sex And The City The Movie in London. Kristen Davis plays it high school ball safe with a chiffon red number.
Is she stiff like that because of the Vintage dress from Guy Laroche Couture? Or because the rumors about the four girls not getting along very well are indeed true? The more I look at her, I get the feeling she’s not feeling at ease at all and I doubt it’s the dress!

Kim Cattrall In Vivienne Westwood At Sex And The City The Movie London Premiere
May 13th, 2008 by kpriss
I usually love dame Vivienne’s creations. This time, however, I have to strongly disagree. The dress looks somehow unfinished and made from an old curtain.
And if it would be just the dress, Kim could have pulled it off with a Samantha air, but she looks all exhausted and completely out of focus. Take a look. What do you say about Kim Cattrall’s Vivienne Westwood red number?

Sarah Jessica Parker In Alexander McQueen At Sex And The City The Movie London Premiere
May 13th, 2008 by kpriss
Sarah Jessica Parker’s outfit from the London Premiere of Sex And The City The Movie has butterfly darling Mariah Carey all envious! She pulled a butterfly number a la Carrie Bradshaw.
I’m not saying it’s a bad thing to go all tree-like on the Red Carpet, I’m just saying that the Philip Treacy hat had to be the main attraction for the bee population of London. And probably only SJP could go off with such an outfit…

Happy Mother’s Day After Hours!
May 12th, 2008 by kpriss
Yesterday’s celebration was so overwhelming, it just have to had an after hours, right? That’s maybe to remind us all that we don’t celebrate mothers just one day/year, May 11th.
And it’s a known fact that mothers, like any women, love flowers! And it’s a known fact that Nederlands has a unique specificity – tulips. Maybe some of you are familiar with these views, I was not, thus I found it overwhelmingly beautiful. This is Monday’s “easy like Sunday morning”, Mother’s day after hours (click the picture for a larger perspective)! Enjoy!
