Cate Blanchett Armani Fashion Disaster For Indiana Jones Sidney Premiere

After showing how perfect Armani Prive can be on her, Cate Blanchett pulled off from the Cannes Red Carpet and went back home, in Sidney, Australia for the premiere of the new Indiana Jones.

She remained faithful to Armani, but not to gorgeousness. Her face looks as halogen-ish as ever, but I confess I was in no hurry to see her in shining gold bacofoil. How is this dress doing any justice to beautiful Cate?

Lagerfeld’s Metamorphoses Of An American

After landing a Diet Book, the Kaiser launches into an evolutionist essay with his new “Metamorphoses of an American”.

Wanting to show off his photographer skills, I guess, the Kaiser has put together a collection of pictures, as he likes to call them, ditching the “graphic” side of the pictorial story, with an American model, Brad Kroenig from 2003 till present times.

Karl Lagerfeld Metamorphoses of an American

Taking the evolutionist-picture trend one step further, Lagerfeld has Brad impersonating different characters from different times (James Dean, Rudolph Valentino etc).

Pretending that the model discovers a different “self” with every symbolic personality he’s bringing before the lens, Lagerfeld is more of a teacher and father figure (in spite of his horror when fatherhood involved) in the name of the most egoist love of pseudo art there is!

Angelina Jolie Dress For Changeling Premiere In Cannes

When she began her tent-dresses mania, Angie was no menace to fashion. I was even hoping she’d be on an ascending trend towards style improvement.

I was so wrong! Pregnant. Carrying twins. (physically) Looking great. Wearing a potato sack dress. On the Red Carpet. In Cannes. I haven’t had the horror…ahem…honor to witness such an obvious, clear as daylight fashion disaster for some time now. I’m having troubles picking at something there – the dull color? The no-design design? What’s there to hate more?

V Magazine No 53 In Your Dreams Colorful Pictorial

At first I only had a teaser and a very good looking one. Now I can show it all and it’s as beautiful as announced by the initial picture.

Colorful, joyful and intriguing, the editorial for V Magazine No 53 is called In Your Dreams and features Lily Donaldson, Jessica Stam and Doutzen Kroes. If I had to pick, I’d go for the orange Stam or the purple Doutzen from the fifth and the sixth picture.

Gwyneth Paltrow Cruises Chanel 2009 On The Cannes Red Carpet

I guess holding hands with Mr Valentino is a big thing. Gwyneth is all smiles, all proud of herself. And all wearing a Chanel frock.

And not any ordinary Chanel, of course! She’s wearing a dress from Chanel Resort 2009 Collection! You know, the one about dead people and somber perspectives over summer! Beautiful bow-disaster! It’s like a sad combo of nightgown meet the cheerful widow. But hey, Gwyneth is everybody’s sweetheart lately, she can pull anything off! What do you think?

Gualti Unusual Jewelry

My open minded self gave in to my safe-thinking self when looking at these creations. I couldn’t help imagining that my kids will be physically marked by such jewelry if ever I dare to wear!

However, the world has its fair percentage of warrior princesses or edgy mademoiselles willing to shock and impress by wearing a piece of jewelry fierce enough to hurt the others in the most proper manner there is (there’s also a second photo to exemplify the fight-value of these creations)!
