High Chair Shoes
June 30th, 2008 by kpriss
The High Chair Shoes. No. the HIGH chair shoes. No. the high CHAIR shoes. No, no no! the high CHAIR SHOES!
And I kid you not, besides being incredibly ugly, they really look like a chair. A high chair. I know Posh is always avant her time, but for this one I think even her will dish the new chair thing! And I wouldn’t blame her one bit… I wonder if you can actually walk on these!

Giorgio Armani Pens
June 30th, 2008 by kpriss
When I asked if you would drive a Versace Murcielago, I think it was the pic of the brandsnobitude.
I’m stepping down a level (okay, maybe more) and I ask you if you’d write Armani-style. Because Giorgio Armani Pens are worldwide available in Giorgio Armani boutiques and Tibaldi authorized dealers. Why Tibaldi? Because it’s an exclusive Giorgio Armani collaboration with the Italian pen maker founded in 1916, Tibaldi.
Why should you buy a Giorgio Armani Tibaldi instead of a Tibaldi pure and simple? Because they have GA engraved on the cap and the rhodium and ruthernium plated solid 18 karat gold nib. You should also know that each of the Armani writing instruments is hand made, that they are sold individually in special edition packages with ink, envelopes and Giorgio Armani letterhead set in a handmade black lacquered box for $3,114.
I would be more interested to write notes on my personal stationery, forget Armani! My own design (if possible, of course, but surely not GA engraved if my name has nothing to do with those initials). What about you? Personal or haute couture writing?

Yves Saint Laurent Rolling Sneaker
June 30th, 2008 by kpriss
I did confessed having the Converse, haven’t I? And for my tennis sport shoes, right? Why would I change that for another white sneaker?
Just because it has YSL tag and Yves Saint Laurent signature on the side of the white patent leather? I couldn’t. I just am not that kind of sneaker girl. Would you consider this sport shoe just because it has YSL on?

Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Versace Roadster
June 28th, 2008 by kpriss
Think Lamborghini. Think Murcielago. Think Versace. Third’s a charm, don’t they say so? Well, Versace’s third collaboration with Lamborghini is available for anyone now.
Anyone who can afford such a masterpiece, of course. Their first collaboration (for the same Murcielago LP640) was a limited edition of 10. Their second collaboration was a black roadster for charity. Now the Versace makeover is opened to the public. And don’t think you’ll get much Versace for the money you’ll be paying! Oh, no! It’s the exterior motif (who can mislead anyone into thinking that the car’s owner is a bad tasteful individual) and the interior with full grain, hand embroidered white leather seats, dashboard and center console. (you can see the interior picture right after the jump)
Martin Margiela Line 11 Silver Interlocking Ring And Bracelet
June 28th, 2008 by kpriss
I normally love a good rough work. A jewelry detail making the difference is always to prefer when needing that extra personal touch to one’s outfit.
However, these Martin Margiela creations are a bit too rough. They belong more in a museum than on someone’s finger. Reminding me of some medieval fashion moment, could you make some modern style out them?

The Woman After Lancôme
June 27th, 2008 by kpriss
Et Dieu créa la femme… But He obviously forgot to ask the Lancôme people how to make her…
Well, if they didn’t have a saying in that, at least they could give it a fair try with the Woman’s clothes. And why not get creative? Et Lancôme créa la femme…
…Prada dress with flip-flops or Christian Louboutin shoes with a T-shirt. It’s that very spontaneous, free-spirited, audacious kind of woman. And she’s French — because Lancôme is French.
Seriously, have you some specification, some true specification about these audacious outfits? Cause it seems just empty talk to me – think for a moment – Prada dress with flip-flops? Why not? Maybe they’re signed LV?! Louboutins with T-shirt? What if the T-shirt is, say… McQueen? Oh, the ways of luxury fashion…

Hermès I – The First Hermès Yacht
June 27th, 2008 by kpriss
How about a steel beauty with teak laid decks signed Hermès? And you may take your time, it seems to be the first from a series of 24 luxury yachts.
I wish I could provide you with the proper photo but all I dug up were the technical specifications and that didn’t helped me much to know about the ECDIS Simrad CS55 with 15” Display or about the twin hydraulic ram and twin balanced rudder arrangement with interlink… But the facts still remain – Hermès is going into yachting… Why is it that they’d go rather mobile (a luxury car, a luxury helicopter) and others are moving towards concrete couture?

Gianfranco Ferré Stresa Project Dubai
June 27th, 2008 by kpriss
And another one bites the luxury concrete! Gianfranco Ferré is going Dubai residential. The Dubai mirage is no comparison to the catwalk, they’re all going to sign something over there.
Gianfranco Ferré Stresa will combine residential, commercial and hospitality spaces worth more than $1.2bn. The complex is named after the town where Gianfranco Ferré has his summer residence.
The architect of fashion, Gianfranco Ferré, was renowned for his clean lines, originality and inventiveness and we are more than confident that Gianfranco Ferré Stresa will encompass these attributes and fittingly represent the House of Gianfranco Ferré.
Here that? A luxury building named after a town! In Dubai! And signed by a fashion designer! Shall I end my celeb-turned-designer hunt and go concrete couture hunt?
