You remember Roberto Coin? Well, here’s Roberto Coin gold Sneaker! I’m not kidding! It’s a calf-skin sneaker covered with a 24k gold layer! Don’t worry, it won’t come out! It’s covered with a PVC lacquered film too! I don’t know if it looks beautiful to you, but it’s definitely trendy, so you might consider the Gold Sneakers at least for the Halloween night! It fits the fantastic atmosphere around this special celebration!

Vanessa Paradis shows her perfectly cover-fit pose on the cover of Vogue Paris November 2008, issue falling under the Fatal Beauty story line. I was recently misinformed into believing that Paris Hilton was on the cover of this Vogue Paris issue. It was something that I couldn’t understand nor explain. Fortunately, it was just a mistake: Paris has indeed covered the French Vogue, in November. 2006! I also want to thank you, my faithful readers, who promptly came and helped with valuable information that led to correcting the error. Tom Ford’s Fur Boots

Tom Ford has decided to work on something less couture and more primitive. Back to basics for Mr Ford and his new fashion arrogance.
Fur Boots. Natural fur boots for your inner beast. Ah, pardon me, for your Mister’s inner beast. The fur boots are made for a luxurious Monsieur who’d like to walk around in $9, 240 or $5,250 boots. Or for a spoiled Junior who can run around in $4,470 kid fur boots. And that’s not for any running or walking around.. It’s for St Moritz or Gstaad, following Mr Ford’s description of his clients! “And when the snow falls/ You’re found in St Moritz/ With the others of the jet-set!” said the song… Not long before we’ll see those boots in respectable men’s magazines, worn by lovely mademoiselles wearing nothing but the outrageously luxurious boots and a glass of wine. For it’s cold, in St Moritz.. And people are cold too! Because I’m of curious nature.. How could you walk around in these, in the snow, and then wear them again? Luckily there’s also a Russian-like fur hat to turn heads to this collection to save the shoe-day!
Philosophy Spectator Pump

For no particular reason, today I wanted to look for a shoe to share. Or maybe after few days of magazine covers, I was looking for something else. So, here’s a new episode from the Shoes Obsession series, a two toned spectator pump.(if you want more of these little finds, and more episodes of Shoes Obsession, let me know!)
This grey and burgundy pump is mighty high – the platform measures 1” and the heel measures 4”. The robust heel cuts a bit of sexyness but I don’t mind, it looks funny. Especially that lace bow gives a fun twist to this $600 PHI pump. Do you think it’s versatile enough to pay this price?
Lumigan, The Mascara Terminator!

Something’s about to rock the beauty industry harder than the Wall Street closing up its doors!
It’s Lumigan. Originally used for Glaucoma treatment, this medicine seems to stimulate the natural growth of the eyelashes. Experiments have been made (more or less officially) and it has been proven that if used with (something like) the eyeliner’s pencil, everyday, it could double your lashes length within 2 months! Now that’s great news for us and a sad one for the beauty industry! I don’t know about you, but I rely on my mascara (and only my mascara) for a spectacular eye makeup. Other than that, I don’t wear any makeup. Of course I’d think twice before using Lumigan instead of my faithful Lancôme mascara since it hasn’t been cosmetically approved yet! What about you? Would you use Lumigan before it reaches the beauty products mass production?
Easy Like The Angel Oak Tree

Now that’s something I don’t get to see every day! A 1,400 years old oak? How beautiful and yet so simple a wonder can just be.
Nature’s amazing surprises impress me more and more every day! This Angel Oak Tree from Charleston South Carolina has got to be one of the most peaceful sights. All those years translate into perfect tranquility for me. I wonder how many more unique and impressive trees are there out in the wilderness still? Beyonce Knowles, Madame Jay Z in person goes to InStyle to talk about her married woman ways! All that and more in the November issue of InStyle Magazine.
Just recently I heard that she was changing her stage name from Beyonce into Sasha the Fierce. If that was a false rumor, I don’t know yet. What’s for sure is that I can’t look at Beyonce and call her Sasha. And The Fierce! Even if she goes proudly declaring she’s a new woman now, living a new life, I still can’t go for the Sasha thing. She’s Beyonce. Knowles. She who puts on mermaid dresses like no other! (more after the jump)
