You may be familiar with Darjeeling Limited. If not, I suggest you try a bit of this Wes Anderson’s flavor and see how’s the aftertaste!
To tell you the truth, I couldn’t see the movie when we first put it on. It was beyond boring and rather stupid so we stopped it and moved along to another movie. But after a while, we wanted to finish it so we dug up some huge amounts of patience and endless understanding and pressed play. The result? (we still found it dull and strange but!) This harmless movie has an undeniable charm of its own. Like a dry poetry, you can see it, think about it and suddenly even out all the frequencies of your being in few moments. It all becomes calm. And dry. And poetic. Here’s Peter Sarstedt’s Where Do You Go To (My Lovely) from The Darjeeling Limited. I didn’t like the song either, at first. My husband sent it to me and when I first played the music, it was bugging me. Too slow, too harmonically sung. Now I like it. I press play and repeat. On and on. Enjoy this break!

I love Wes Anderson’s films they appeal to my quirky out look about life. This one was no exception.
I am sorry that you found it dull Kpriss, but all’s fair, I could not take “Interview with a Vampire”. Not my genre and I cannot abide Tom Cruise.
Anyway, thanks for this bit of Friday! : )
