Just Smile! You’re Great! Validation Short Movie By Kurt Kuenne
January 30th, 2009 by kpriss
While I was searching for an appropriate Friday break, one to bring the brightest smile on your face and give you at least 3 minutes of relaxation, I received a short movie from my Adored Husband.
I pressed play, out of reflex. Then I saw: 16minutes 23 seconds! Oh! What have I done? I was searching for my Friday Break! But he told me to wait and watch. And right he was!
I’m coming with the same short movie, proposing it to you. 14 minutes (plus the end credits) but worth every second spent watching this fable! Enjoy and don’t forget: You’re great! Just smile! (you can find out everything I could find out about Validation and Kurt Kuenne in short version right after this video!)
Givenchy Haute Couture Spring 2009 Paris Fashion Show
January 29th, 2009 by kpriss
Givenchy’s Haute Couture perspective over the 2009 Summer is a pretty somber yet pure one.
Ricardo Tisci’s 29 models are so bride-ish and pharaoh-ish, I could literally freeze just by looking at it! Even if this Givenchy Summer 2009 is directly inspired from Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema’s art (more exactly The Roses of Heliogabalus painting from 1888), I still have the chills on my spine. (don’t miss the entire collection right after the jump)
Gisele Bundchen’s Rampage Spring Summer 2009 Ad Campaign
January 29th, 2009 by kpriss
With or without Dior, Gisele Bundchen’s ad campaigns for Spring Summer 2009 ad campaigns don’t change my mind about her being one of those svelte yet healthy looking models out there.
That could explain her being one of the highest paid too… Nonetheless, a model’s job is a tricky thing, be it for Dior or Fornarina (oh, wait, that was LiLo, not a model! Lindsay, honey, pay attention: this is how is done!) (don’t miss the rest of the pictures and a behind the scenes video from the photo shoot)

Make Yourself Comfortable In A Hermès Crocodile Pippa Chair!
January 29th, 2009 by kpriss
There’s no joke, no-no! While living these insecure times, talking luxury has become a trivial doing. Offensive and to be handled with care, the luxury topics are le nouvel interdit.
Hermès Pippa folding chair a limited edition campaign chair made of black crocodile skin with a matte finish. The frame is made of maple with an ebony finish. The hardware is nickel plated.
All that and more for $24,000. But you won’t have just a chair for that price! No-no! You’ll have a piece of history. Of Hermès history! The Pippa chair was first made in the 1980s by (architect, designer and wife of Hermès PDG Jean-Louis Dumas-Hermès) Rena Dumas.
She took inspiration in the 40s and 50s furniture created by Jean Michel Frank and Paul Dupre Lafont for Hermès. The original Pippa folding chair was made in pear wood and leather. This crocodile reedition of the original Pippa outstands its ancestor through finish, contemporary aesthetics and… price!
Do you think the golden rule of an outfit (wearing one expensive, brand accessory) can apply to interior decoration? Placing this Hermès Pippa folding chair in a home could add style and definition to any house? (justluxe via elitechoice)
Emma Watson By Ellen Von Unwerth For Vs. Magazine SS09
January 29th, 2009 by kpriss
With Haute Couture comes back my love of fashion and all things chic. I tend to forget about this Wonderland, territory of dreams and beauty.
I’ve so discovered something that falls in the same category as Haute Fashion – Haute Magazine. Vs. Vs. Magazine has that strong fashion and art aesthetic that lost territory in favor of trashy and cheap (à la Vivienne Westwood’s Pamela Anderson art).
Vs. Magazine has that high fashion, high professionalism taste you can hardly find anywhere on today’s fashion magazines’ menu plates. It’s the reason I fell in love with fashion and style and I’m so happy to enjoy and share with you my precious find!
I’m not one of the fashion snobs who discard gossip because it’s not artsy enough. I find inspiration in every piece of information and I treasure diversity in my Google Reader. Because that’s how I get inspired, that’s how I understand my time in my own (egoistic and selfcentered) rhythm. (don’t miss the pictures right after the jump!)
Bar Refaeli For M & S Valentine’s Day
January 29th, 2009 by kpriss
Bar Refaeli is more popular for her (current) relationship with Leonardo Di Caprio than for the modelling career.
Still, one of the occasions you have to see Bar’s professional self is in Mark And Spencer ad campaigns. Their Valentine’s Day offers reveal a beautiful, playful Bar Refaeli while posing for lingerie. (don’t miss the rest of the images right after the jump!)

Let’s Play Some Louis Vuitton Cards!
January 29th, 2009 by kpriss
There’s nothing stopping the designers to brand all over the place. I honestly believe this to be more disgraceful than graffiti tags! At least for those you don’t have to pay a dime!
So here comes the glorious Louis Vuitton Card Deck Set (costing only $105)! I’m not a player myself so I wouldn’t have place or purpose for such a Louis Vuitton possession in my house. But mind those men!
You never know when your uberchic man is going for a poker party with a Louis Vuitton winning hand! I guess Kanye lost his chance to make that designer step! You can still work it Kanye, I trust you’ll find something more worthy to design chez LV to justify your Martin “Louis” The King Jr. new name!
(Ah, yes, in case you were wondering, the Louis really comes from his sneakers collection for LV!) Let’s play that game, shall we? What’s the next perfect candidate product for a proper designer tagging? (via)
Christian Dior Couture Spring 2009 Paris Fashion Show
January 28th, 2009 by kpriss
With Armani Privé I started the Haute Couture series here on Stylefrizz.com. A time of economic challenge requires a heavy dream backing or else…
Galliano’s collection for Christian Dior Haute Couture Spring 2009 gives you just that – the reason to dream and the perfect wardrobe for that dream! The 39 models look every inch the dream-glamourama I always expected from the Haute Couture. (don’t miss the entire collection after the break)
