Burberry Shoes Collection Spring Summer 2009
February 16th, 2009 by kpriss
I admit being a Burberry girl. Ever since I saw their Spring Summer 2009 ads I knew it: this season it’s going to be Burberry or nothing at all!
I can’t stop looking at those shoes and find them perfect! The shape, the heel… I rarely stare with that much admiration but those platforms stubbornly occupied a serious parcel of my fashion-allocated part of my brain! (more after the jump!)
The Lindsay Bag By Fornarina
February 14th, 2009 by kpriss
Everybody (and their dog) has (at least) a bag these days. And by “having” a bag I mean having a bag designed especially for you!
Bryanboy has one! And not just any, a Marc Jacobs! Now Lindsay Lohan joins the very exclusive club of bag designer-owner. As the new Fornarina spokesface for their Spring Summer 2009 campaign she was entitled to name…ahem design one of their bags. (don’t miss the rest of the story right after the jump!)
Taylor Momsen’s Marchesa Dress For AmfAR 2009
February 14th, 2009 by kpriss
When it comes to the young Hollywood promises, watching them grow on the Red Carpet is a must.
Because we can easily spot the induced fashion evolution and their own personalities striving to get through the Red Carpet imposed etiquette. Taylor Momsen’s years combined with this mint floor length Marchesa dress don’t make such a good team. (more after the jump)
AnOther Tilda Swinton
February 14th, 2009 by kpriss
Well, it’s not properly another Tilda Swinton… it’s the same Tilda except she’s featured in AnOther Magazine.
The first time we talked about AnOther Magazine, they were featuring Uma Thurman on the cover. The Future Fashion issue with Tilda was made in collaboration with Selfridges and a special edition with an alternative cover is available only at Selfridges from February 12 . Rosario Dawson Wears LBD And Wins NAACP Award
February 13th, 2009 by kpriss
I always had the feeling Rosario Dawson was high above the Hollywood clique. Up until the NAACP Image Awards (40th edition) (where she was awarded for best actress in a motion picture)
Her black dress was perfect, she was wearing it with amazing grace. Her hair somewhat matched the 50s dress, she could’ve paired all that with another type of shoes (some peep-toe pumps, ideally!) but let’s call it a bad shoes day… (don’t miss the rest of the pictures right after the jump!)

Jerry Hall, Baptiste Giabiconi Chanel Ads In The Bag!
February 13th, 2009 by kpriss
Not very different from our little Photoshop game, the veritable photos from the Chanel ad campaign with Jerry Hall were released.
I can’t help but noticing the obvious – the timeless absolute beauty of Jerry Hall. At 52 years old (just two years older than Madonna) she lands a Chanel ad campaign! What really bugs me is Karl’s predilection for self absorbed, self sufficient looks in his ad campaigns. (don’t miss the rest of the pictures right after the jump!)
Dare To Wear The Living Necklace By Paula Hayes?
February 13th, 2009 by kpriss
Paula Hayes is an avant-gardener. Educated in Fine Art and Sculpture, this landscape artist surprised me in a very pleasant way.
Besides her great landscape works and amazing terrariums, she created a living necklace. Tiny crocheted plant pots tied together in a soft chain, an extraordinary creation ready to adorn the eco conscious in you.
I’m not sure I could give in to the charms of Paula Hayes Living Necklaces since they look so painful to wear (imagine if there was a cactus in there!), but this could be, however, the beginning of a new jewelry era.
It’s gotta be one of the easiest ways to carry around your favorite piece of nature…
Could you wear the Living Necklace by Paula Hayes? (you can read more about Paula Hayes and her work here)

Freida Pinto Is The Vanity Girl In Vanity Fair March 2009
February 13th, 2009 by kpriss
Freida Pinto is not just a lovely young woman with a great smile and (still) untouched by the Hollywood standards! She was one of the main characters from this year movie sensation Slumdog Millionaire, but hardly that important!
Given that almost the entire movie, her co-star Dev Pattel was amazing (not to mention the children who played the main characters when they were young!), people’s obsession with Freida is slightly strange. (the story continues after the jump)
