Miley Cyrus In Zuhair Murad Dress For Oscars 2009
February 22nd, 2009 by kpriss
Miley Cyrus was one of the first on the Red Carpet tonight. Even if I was hoping for something more colorful, she did her white-silver-ish favorite number again for the 2009 Oscars.
And even if I was expecting for another Marchesa (but maybe she didn’t went for Marchesa since her father kept stepping on her Golden Globes Marchesa!), she chose a Zuhair Murad white mermaid-ish sequined dress! From the Couture 2009 collection called Le Bal des Sirenes, the dress looks pretty and perfectly decent for Miley’s age.
She even admitted the dress is really heavy (hence the suffering behind beauty!) How do you like it? (there’s also a video right after the jump!) (photos via celebutopia, zuhairmurad)

W Magazine Law & Order With Daisy Lowe And Peaches Geldof
February 21st, 2009 by kpriss
I remember a time when the catchy tagline “Le fric, c’est chic” made history alongside Studio54’s iconic personalities.
Now the Studio54 generation’s children try to make history through their tattoos, heavy partying, wrong marriages, dubious circles. Shortly, they’re trying to eat their part of the history cake by shocking everyone. (and their dog!) “Le freak c’est chic” (don’t miss the rest of the pictures right after the jump!)
Hervé Léger By Max Azria Fall 09 Collection NY Fashion Week (Hervé Léger Short History)
February 21st, 2009 by kpriss
You’re not supposed to walk the Red Carpet without wearing (at least once) a Hervé Léger! It’s like the skinny jeans of high fashion – you just can’t do without in the spotlight!
Doesn’t matter if you can pull the look or not, you look great in Hervé Léger just because it’s Hervé Léger! Ever since I could lay my eyes on one of the legendary bandage-dresses, I couldn’t think about anything else but Mummies wrapping! (don’t miss the rest of the story, the pictures and the video right after the jump!)
i-D The Twelve Best Of British Icons In March 2009
February 20th, 2009 by kpriss
When you want to find I-D on the world wide web, you get to choose between I.D and i-D. Both and each iconic, one is standing for the International Design Magazine and the other stands for a very fashion-significant wink.
i-D Magazine is the fashion and style conscious reviewer for over 25 years (29 years this year, 2009, to be more exact) (don’t miss the rest of the story, pictures and behind the scenes videos right after the jump!)

M.I.A. Paper Planes From Slumdog Millionaire
February 20th, 2009 by kpriss
With the Oscars just around the corner, it was the perfect time for a piece of Slumdog Millionaire!
And not just any piece! A M.I.A piece! Talking about Santigold/Santogold yesterday, got me thinking about M.I.A. because she was also one of my 2008 favorites. This pre-Oscar Friday Break is about Slumdog Millionaire’s Paper Planes song. So wonderful and addictive! Enjoy! (you can read more about the song and view the original Paper Planes video right after the jump!)
Lindsay Lohan Clothing Collection
February 19th, 2009 by kpriss
Yes, your eyes are just fine! Lindsay Lohan’s clothing collection in the making these days (it’s the WWD-Bible who broke the wonderful news to the world!)
And that doesn’t mean I deemed her leggings line with the “clothing line” title! It means she’s really going for designing clothes! I suspect the designing will be really easy – skinny, leggings, white/gray/black t-shirts, cardis. (don’t miss the rest of the pictures right after the jump!)
Against Animal Testing!
February 19th, 2009 by kpriss
I’ll start by saying I don’t want to participate in an endless debate about the yay/nay –s of animal testing.
I think everyone can and should judge by him/herself if given sufficient information. Animal testing is not economy-addicted and thus it doesn’t necessarily disappear when there’s no relevant economic growth.
The story continues after the jump! don’t miss the rest of the pictures!
