The Latest Trend In Watches!
July 14th, 2009 by kpriss
Who needs a multiple timezone wristwatch when you can wear one watch for each timezone? Remember that street fashion photography/blogging I was talking about earlier? This comes straight from the Jak and Jill imagery oven!
Timeless, speechless, spotless golden style worn to the max. I remain faithful to my conservative style (and even if I don’t wear a wristwatch, I have the firm belief I know how to make good use of a multi-timezone one)! But what say you?

Supermodels In Vogue Italy July 2009
July 14th, 2009 by kpriss
Christy Turlington, Eva Herzigova, Helena Christensen, Naomi Campbell for Vogue Italy July 2009. It’s enough to make me buy it!
So many years gone by and I still find myself amazed by the Supers power! Photographed by Mario Sorrenti and styled as true timeless icons, Christy, Eva, Helena and Naomi set new boundaries to perfection, new heights to modelling. I’m also (half) aware by the advantages of black and white photography and the magic aura of long, wavy hair (Eva makes a Monroe-esque exception), but honestly, are there any flaws to these Super Portraits? (more images right after the jump!) (photos via)
Chanel Fine Joaillerie
July 14th, 2009 by kpriss
Aesthetically speaking, I’m worryingly ambivalent when it comes to this Chanel Fountain Ring! Upon a first, quick look, I was ready to label it “ugly”. But then…
Something happened. Like automatically installing a likeness filter, I started liking this Chanel Joaillerie piece. Not because it’s beautiful (because I still think it’s not, after my standards), but because it has something unique. Then it hit me: that’s the Coco Chanel power, right there! In that 18 carat white gold ring paved with 100 round diamonds! The Gabrielle Coco Chanel distinctiveness! (the story continues with more pictures right after the jump!)

Avril Lavigne Does Elle Canada August 2009
July 14th, 2009 by kpriss
Elle editors must have received a directive pointing towards teen punk rock pop as the new must in fashion magazine. Women fashion magazines!
While Miley Cyrus covers Elle US, Avril Lavigne takes Elle Canada. There’s no shame in giving up to the commercial temptation, Elle should come forth and say it out loud: we’re only doing this for the money! Otherwise, portraying Avril Lavigne in their August 2009 (Canadian Edition) issue looks a bit weird… (the story continues right after the jump!)
Make Your Own Chanel Quilted Bag!
July 14th, 2009 by kpriss
Imitation, they say, it’s the highest form of flattery. Could we consider counterfeiting as flattery of some kind? At least commercially?
How about reediting in a very personal manner? Maybe we’re the generation that’ll spawn the real change. The new it: derision. Karl Lagerfeld was the visionary, comme d’habitude: he sported a funny inscription on a plain white bag (Karl who?). Then there’s the power of DIY. The magic behind the Do It Yourself formula enabling anyone (and their fashdog) to reveal their inner designer. Can you resist the temptation of DIY Chanel Bag? (photo JakandJill Fashion Copious)
My Own Fairy Tale
July 13th, 2009 by kpriss
You know, when you were little and you had that little book of things you were going to do when/while you were growing up? (at least in your mind you had it all mapped out, I know you did!)
Well, if I’ll do a print screen of my life right now, I know I’d find it, in my “things I’m going to do” book with “Happily ever after” written under. Well, I guess what I’m really trying my keyboard out to say here is that we just celebrated our marriage anniversary and wanted to share with you, because you’re just as part of my life as everything else, and I want to make you feel just as special and blessed as I feel, every day, every moment of every day! (and yes, that’s my wedding ring, me own hand, me white, fairy tale-ish wedding dress! Plus a motion blur filter via me own Photoshop!)
BLV Eau De Parfum II
July 10th, 2009 by kpriss
Back when I was into the Matrix groove, I also had my first scent crush ever. It was BLV, Bvlgari. The first perfume that got stuck in my nose just from smelling a magazine page. So I had to buy it, naturally!
BLV Eau de Parfum II looks to be the lighter, modern version of the original BLV (which had a darker blue bottle). And even if the bottle is strikingly similar to the original BLV one, it would appear the difference is inside. Also, fronting the BLV II ad campaign is Laetitia Casta.
