Christopher Kane, Alber Elbaz Don’t Heart Bloggers
December 4th, 2009 by kpriss
Alber Elbaz declared “I’m really scared of Bloggers”; Christopher Kane is ignoring Tavi’s fashimpact on the blogosphere : “at some shows this season the front row was just all bloggers. I think it will die down though […] No one who wants to read a serious review of a show is going to look at what a 14-year-old thinks.”. What will it be next year, then? Sab(l)o(g)tage? I must admit it’s a fun idea, the silver rings look wonderful and very wearable. It’s also a stylish alternative to the knuckle ring design everyone is so keen on right now. Do you have someone on your Christmas list ready to feel the Pacman magic? (Etsy via tDW)
How To DIY Christian Louboutin For Rodarte Spiked Shoes
December 3rd, 2009 by kpriss
If you’re one of those who, like myself, have dreamed about those unspeakable spikey beauties made for Rodarte by the Maitre Christian Louboutin for the Fall Winter 2008 / 2009 collection, then you’ll find the following truly amazing!
If you’re one of those crafty, gifted do-it-yourself-ers (and I admire you for your patience, your gift and the incredible amounts of time you invest in your DIY activities), you were already thinking about this for quite a while now. Nevertheless, there it goes, step by step: from a regular black shoe (quite similar to the basic shape of the Rodarte Louboutin) to the spiked, studded (and beyond) perfectly lookalike the Fall 08 Rodarte platforms by Christian Louboutin! Joseph Gordon-Levitt GQ December 2009 Vs Nylon Man September 2009
December 2nd, 2009 by kpriss
This is actually my husband’s find! I wouldn’t have open my eyes to see Joseph Gordon Levitt if it wasn’t for him! He said he liked this skinny, nervous, almost psychotic guy from a movie (I think it was Stop-Loss) and he asked me if I recognized him.
I didn’t! It was actually difficult to see the masterminded young actor as the former 3rd Rock from the Sun teenager. Joseph Gordon-Levitt has grown up beautifully! (click through to read the rest of the story and check out the image gallery!)

How To Take Care Of Your Boots, The Hermes Way!
December 2nd, 2009 by kpriss
It’s the season! Though the pleasure of wearing boots has a fashionable excuse for every season, now is the time to prove that your boots were made for walking!
What’s the best care for your boots? Coming straight from the Hermes maitres:
You must never wear the same footwear two days’ running. […] You must let your boots rest and never leave the leather close to a source of heat. Stuff the boots with newspaper and let them dry naturally, then nurture them with a cream and then a wax. Treat them as well as you would your own skin.
