MAC Viva Glam Lady Gaga, Cindy Lauper Spring 2010 Campaign
December 11th, 2009 by kpriss
I was hoping for something else. Lady Gaga and Cindy Lauper posed together for M.A.C., the Viva Glam Spring Summer 2010 ad campaign.
Bringing you to a color-intolerance threshold, the picture makes me sad. Gaga is weird enough to draw attention to herself without the mandatory photoshop retouches. And besides, why advertise for makeup if you’re doing it all digitally? (said it before, haven’t I?).

Tim Burton’s 9
December 11th, 2009 by kpriss
In my undeniably crushing passion for animated movies, I came across a tiny piece of wonder called 9 (Nine). It’s produced by Tim Burton and if you’ll take a look at the trailer, you’ll see it fits his world perfectly.
It’s a spoiler, definitely, but you should know that when it comes to animation, I’m rarely distracted/deranged by a trailer. I love animated movies to much to allow a teaser to spoil the fun and the interest. There’s more: while it bears the Tim Burton seal, 9 is not his actual doing so don’t blame the loop-like, repetitive action flaws on him! (that is if you watched it already or you’re going to!). The animation, however? Isn’t it beautiful? (via)
Zoe Saldana’s Complex, December January 2009 2010
December 11th, 2009 by kpriss
Zoe Saldana is the next big thing in my agenda. Not only she’s unearthly beautiful and appealing on screen, but she has that something that could make her big out there without sending her straight in the scandal pages too.
Mark Ecko’s Complex magazine brings Avatar’s Zoe Saldana on the December/January 2009/2010 cover. And I’m happy they did! (it’s a double cover issue, with the second cover held by Eminem) (the story continues right after the jump with more images and a behind the scenes video! You can see the gallery here!)

Vogue US Brings On The Bloggers. March 2010
December 11th, 2009 by kpriss
After having seen the windows, now it’ll be in print. Anna’s shooting the notorious bloggers for the upcoming March 2010 Issue: Garance and the Sartorialist, Bryanboy, the Face Hunter, Jak & Jil. They’re all very careful and try to tone down while keeping the secret. Designers don’t like the blogginghood, but Anna Wintour approves! (WWD)

The Hood Thong, The Christmas Gift For Lady Gaga Fans!
December 10th, 2009 by kpriss
Many things could be said about Lady Gaga’s style (and more). Today I’ll just keep it to a minimum because our main focus here is style, fashion and, foremost, fun! (yes, I do tend to heat up over minor issues at times, but it fades away in a LV-blink!)
Han & Brikauski’s Hood Thong looks like a hoodie gone bad. Really bad! I’m sure Lady Gaga and Rihanna will approve the new concept, I’m still reluctant to the design, given the season, people will most surely be more interested in a mittens thong. Or a reindeer headband thong to get into the cheer season? What say you? (this comes as a perfectly natural evolution after the transforming Michael Bay and Victoria’s Secret step up in lingerie evolution) (via)
Jennifer Garner’s W Magazine January 2010
December 10th, 2009 by kpriss
I’ll start this story by stating one fact clear: I like Jennifer Garner. I do! I like her for the star she tries to be and I like her for the mother/woman she really is! (Jerry Maguire, anyone?)
I like her seriousness and commitment, I appreciate her modesty and talent. She’s a happy mother of two wonderful little girls besides being an active actress and she’s now on the cover of W Magazine, January 2010.

Carrie On SATC 2
December 9th, 2009 by kpriss
In a world where even lingerie items must come out from a properly explosive set, the following comes as no surprise: Carrie makes her coming out, Mary 2010! Sarah Jessica Parker finally unveiling Carrie’s secret in Sex And The City two.
And because I know the wait is long and unbearable, Carrie on two spills it all (exclusively): she’s a machine. She always was and always will be. Proof in images! What? After Karl being an alien, this comes as a shock to you? Fashion is not for the average, daaaahling! (photo via)
Christofle Fidelio Champagne Silver Straws, The Refined Christmas Gift
December 9th, 2009 by kpriss
Fidélio is the name, sipping is the game! Christofle’s Champagne straws comes in a box of two, measures 10 “ (25 cm) and you could add it up to your Christmas shopping list if you have someone on your list who’s beyond posh and party sensitive (and lipstick addicted).
Yes, these silvery wonders are meant to help you never get your lips wet while sipping champagne and enjoying the party mood without fading one shade of your marvelous lipstick. How’s that for impeccable? (ah, my bad: count up to $165 for a pair!) (Christofle via theImagist)
