Juliette Lewis New Blue Hairdo
July 2nd, 2010 by kpriss
Juliette Lewis is one of those enchanting performers who always put on a show. Whether on the big screen or on stage (singing, that is), Juliette is great at what she does.
And that blue hair only comes to sustain that theory – yes, she has blue hair, but she looks good with it. (doesn’t she?) I’m guessing it’s not a new look (the dark roots are heavily present), however, that doesn’t change one thing – blue/grey hair is in fashion. Would you do it? Blue hair? (photos via)

Oscar De La Renta iPad Clutch
July 2nd, 2010 by kpriss
What would you do to keep your new toy safe and protected? Would you pay $290 just for a leather clutch to sneak it in? Keep it away from scratches and curious eyes?
Oscar de la Renta’s iPad clutches come in four colors, the embossed leather giving away the luxury of dressing your precious iPad in Oscar de la Renta. I have to admit, even if it’s too loud for my taste, the crimson clutch is the most appealing. Wouldn’t you agree? (available here)

Material Girl Who? Meet Lola!
July 1st, 2010 by kpriss
Now before we’ll get the chance to see the actual collection, Lourdes (yep, Madonna’s daughter) comes with something more… contemporary: a blog! Yes, Lourdes has her very first entry already on the “Material Girl Collection” blog, entitled “Meet Lola”.
Though I vaguely recollect Madonna was firm against touching anything TV or computer related (that was, I admit, in her Richie years, so maybe things have changed lately. Hopefully), Lourdes is aloud to write on her blog. This and that, much about nothing, fashion and trends. Pretty way to start, huh? A collection and a blog in the same time! Well, we’re not all under her Madgesty scepter, aren’t we? (via)
Cruise 2011, Alexander McQueen Style Collection
July 1st, 2010 by kpriss
This is the first collection from Alexander McQueen’s successor: Sarah Burton. And it’s looking quite good too! I must admit it’s all looking very royal and couture.
I’m simply adoring the maxi evening dresses and the fierce cuts of the shown pieces. I’m hoping Sarah won’t dilute Alexander McQueen’s daringness and edginess, all in the name of femininity and couture. What say you? (via)
Burberry Fall Winter 2010 2011 Revolutionary Ad Campaign
July 1st, 2010 by kpriss
Now that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has become a Hollywood item, she’s popping everywhere (besides currently being in a relationship with Jason Statham – she was announced as Megan Fox’ successor for the next Transformers movie). As stubborn as I could’ve appear, I was looking forward for another Emma Watson saison at Burberry.
Just to spare us the Huntington-Whiteley annoying pruning. Now they’re all saying this new Fall Winter 2010 2011 Burberry ad campaign is a revolutionary one (not just because on the original website you can click, rotate, pause and drag images 180 degrees, but because of the spirit within). I keep looking and all I see is young people trying to look and behave like egocentric hipsters of their generation. And more. Am I to assume that if Che would’ve been alive right now, he would have been shopping chez Burberry? (via)
Lady Gaga Finally A Man For Vogue Hommes Japan
July 1st, 2010 by kpriss
Lady Gaga tried so very hard to put those man rumors to rest (something in her Video phone video will tell you just how hard she tried to convince everyone and their dogs that she’s a woman.). Now she suddenly decided to put it all behind her with a little help from photographer Nick Knight and stylist Nicola Formichetti.
The name is Elegant Mechanics and it magazine is Vogue Hommes Japan. Our distinguished Lady Gaga wants to be known as “Jo Calderone”. Looking good, Gaga, really… natural! Isn’t she? (more about the project here)
Alek Wek For Arise 10
July 1st, 2010 by kpriss
Arise, Africa’s Global Style and Culture Magazine’s 10th issue features some pretty breathtaking models in honor of the World Cup. And who’s on the cover? Alek Wek, stunning as usual, in a black swimming suit. However, the inside content is not to be taken lightly as it features Aminata Niara, Gracie Cavalho, Georgie Badiel, Oluchi OnweagbaNana Kieta.

Ride In Style.Toddlers Edition
June 30th, 2010 by kpriss
It’s time for another one of those Happy Hump Day moments! And how could it be any different with such cuteness overload?
Whether it was made for a photo-minute only or it’s really how it’s done in that particular household, I hope that little one is really enjoying her Puggle ride! (and also – I hope there’s someone to assist her very closely, just in case!). Anyway, I trust you’ll have a really Happy Hump Day! Especially after this one! (photo via)
