Julianne Moore For Bvlgari Fall 2010 Ad Campaign
July 17th, 2010 by kpriss
Hey! look there’s Julianne Moore with no clothes on! She’s wearing a couple of lion cubs and some bags and stones instead!
Lovely lady, lovely wild little creatures, expensive bags, overwhelmingly pricey bling (I’m sure). It’s all happening for the Bvlgari Fall Winter 2010/2011 ad campaign. And besides being smoothed and deprived of all her blemishes (even all her freckles), Julianne looks gorgeous (just like she did for the previous season). Would have loved the freckles, though! Wouldn’t you? (via)

Taylor Momsen, Today’s Material Girl
July 17th, 2010 by kpriss
There’s so much to be said about Taylor Momsen and her authenticity. Her rocking authenticity. There’s oh-so-much I could say about Madonna’s Material Girl collection for Macy’s. I think, however, that too much talking equals too much publicity for that collection. Too much noise for nothing, fashion-wise.
Madonna didn’t do it because she wanted to unleash her inner fashionista (did she?). So now there’s apparently a teaser campaign showing a young blonde, leggy girl. The new Material Girl with clothes created by the original Material Girl (find the video right after the jump). At the same time, a picture, an ad spread, actually, can already be found in magazines all over the nation. The ad shows Taylor Momsen as the Material Girl. Only at Macy’s. Was that a marketing mistake? Is Taylor the new Madonna? (don’t miss the video with Madonna talking about the collection right after the jump!) (via)

Coolio Gangsta’s Paradise
July 17th, 2010 by kpriss
What were you doing back in 1995? Remember Coolio’s Gangsta’s Paradise? I do. And for no other reason than music, I thought about this song and the movie that made it big back in the days. 1995…
Hoping you had a wonderful week and thanking you for your amazing comments, I wish your weekend will be greater than ever! Enjoy Coolio ft L.V. Gangsta’s Paradise. (more info right after the jump)
Cupcakes. Soap Cupcakes
July 16th, 2010 by kpriss
I’d love to tease you with the following pictures. However, I can’t do it! They’re just so cute, my skies open up in a storm of adorableness!
Cupcake Soaps! With icing and sprinkles too! They’re so precious, I could not touch’em, let alone wash them away! Really! Sure, they’re not too safe in a children filled house (if I’m looking at these Naturalynn soaps and control myself because I know it’s soap, not a cupcake, I’m sure my kids will take a bite just to be sure) so if you’re searching for something adorable to put in your bathroom, I’m telling you – this is it! The Naturalynn soap cupcakes! Can you honestly disagree? (Naturalynn via tTG)
Drew Barrymore’s Elle August 2010
July 16th, 2010 by kpriss
Drew Barrymore. I love her laugh. And her films. And how she keeps it real. You can’t find actresses like that today anymore. Today they’re all born from reality shows. Where’s the fun in that? It’s like the modern soap opera via Big Brother.
Getting back to Drew Barrymore: she’s Elle’s covergirl for August 2010 (I suppose it has everything to do with her new film – Going the Distance). And she’s looking real and womanly on the cover, almost un-touched by the tyranny of the Photoshop lord. Looking great, Drew, love you! How about you? (there’s a piece of her interview on Elle’s website here)

Amazing Customized Sneakers. Want. Right. Now
July 16th, 2010 by kpriss
There’s little surprise as to why would I want these sneakers right now if you take a look at the pictures below! These sneakers rock! Really do!
The Nike Dunks sneakers below are not part of a mainstream collection to find at a sneaker store near you, oh no! They’re custom made, unique (ranging between $385 and $1,153)! Their author – Daniel Reese, Mr. Brass Monki, a 22yo young man from the UK. His passion and talent got together and blew into this Brass Monki business in June 2009. And now he’s making the rounds of the fashinterwebs and more. (more images right after the jump; do check out the Brass Monki website here) (via)
Al Pacino Vittoria Coffee Ad
July 16th, 2010 by kpriss
I know it’s just coffee, however, it’s not just anybody advertising for this brand of coffee! It’s the great Al Pacino! I mean… Al Pacino himself!
The family-owned Australian coffee brand Vittoria coffee talked Al Pacino into making his very first product ad campaign ever. Directed by Barry Levinson (Rain Man, Good Morning Vietnam) and produced by Ridley Scott’s production company RSA, the ad was filmed in New York City (West Village). I held my breath nearly the entire duration of it! I nearly jumped screaming hey look, it’s Al Pacino! Talking about coffee! And being amazing while doing so! (am I going too far?) (via3)

Madonna Dolce & Gabbana Ads Keep Surprising Me
July 16th, 2010 by kpriss
Madonna supposedly tried it all and undergone every possible transformation for her stage persona to go further and further into our hearts. And pockets. Her latest Dolce & Gabbana ad campaign goes even deeper in exploring the eternal youth benefits of Photoshop.
It seems the story line behind her campaign involves a young woman (inspired by Italian actress Anna Magnani) who’s living her life on every level (as a daughter, sister, mother, granddaughter and cousin – I wonder where they left the wife part). Thus the young man we already saw in the pictures should be her 17-yo son. Looks like Madonna hired D & G not the other way around – the campaign seems tailored on her Madgesty’s tastes and ambitions. A bit twisted for the wide audience to embrace… So you’ve done Louis Vuitton and Dolce & Gabbana. Who’s next Madge? (don’t miss the rest of the images right after the jump!
