Would You Like A Phone Dress?
August 13th, 2010 by kpriss
It’s actually not a tricky question and yes, it does have the proper tech support to go with the madness of its title! It’s being called the M – dress and it was “born out of necessity”, said the woman behind the concept: Francesca Rosella.
You heard me talking about Cute Circuit before, haven’t you? Well, this time it’s not because of their dazzling lights, it’s precisely because of the talking dress. Phone dress. A sensor and microphone in the wrist allows you to answer or end a call just by raising or lowering your arm. Sounds interesting. Star Trek-ish, and weird but interesting nonetheless. Will it be produced for the end consumer? They say it’ll be available in 2011. Excited? (BBC via tF; more about tech-clothing here)
Paris Does Marilyn Monroe For Tease Perfume Launch
August 13th, 2010 by kpriss
If she would want to, Paris could definitely add Tease as her middle name. Paris Tease Hilton. Because she can.
For her latest perfume (it’s her what.. third perfume? I keep asking myself who buys her stuff and the only answer that comes to my mind is Paris herself! I bet she has rooms filled with her own merch, bought in bulks just to save the appearances!); yeah – I was saying – for Paris Hilton’s latest perfume, Tease, she channeled her inner Marilyn Monroe. Really! Dressed in white, thick black eyeliner, false eyelashes, the Marilyn bob… Now isn’t this one of the most ridiculous, disastrous Marilyn impersonations you’ve ever seen? (photos via)

Jeremy Scott Adidas Track Suit. Not Just For Halloween!
August 13th, 2010 by kpriss
I always wanted to wear an x-ray print! Kidding. No, actually I always wanted to wear my Halloween costume outside the Halloween trick or treat days. Especially the scary costumes!
Now I know my prayers were listened and I can finally have my wish granted if I choose this great track suit from Adidas and Jeremy Scott! Part of the fall-winter 2010 2011 collection, this skeleton track suit may just be the next big thing. What say you? (oh, ah, the price? It’s $115,11 for the top and $95,92 for the pants. Either way, Halloween is coming, so you better get ready!)
Halle Berry’s Vogue September 2010
August 13th, 2010 by kpriss
How do you justify a Vogue September cover? In 2010? Hopefully, with some great fashion pretext, some undeniably significant models. Right? Not.
Not according to Vogue US. Who put Halle Berry on the cover of their September 2010 issue just because she hasn’t done an interview in over three years. And, naturally, all the fashpeople out there waiting breathlessly to receive their Vogue September, they were all craving for some Halle Berry confession session. Right? Not. However, if you are curious for more, hit the jump, hopefully, your curiosity will be satisfied with more images! (click here for the gallery!)

Marc Jacobs Interviewed By Calvin Klein For Harper’s Bazaar
August 12th, 2010 by kpriss
What do we get when two designers meet? At the very best, a fruitful collaboration full of unexpected sartorial twists and turns. However, when the two designers meet to talk, we’re in trouble! Especially if one of them is Marc Jacobs!
I always had the feeling that whatever Marc Jacobs touches, instantly turns to gold. It’s because he’s a dedicated to selling. He couldn’t care less if you buy one of his items and then you toss it. All he cares is that someone can picture himself/herself wearing something he did.
Brilliant fellow, I give him that, he’s got a special extra sense for commercial success! Now there’s one little thing bugging me: why does he always take his clothes off when he’s involved in some fashion shoot? I mean… he should be all about clothes, right? I assure you it’s quite an interesting read, definitely worth your while. Right after the jump you’ll find few fragments, sure, taken out of the context, but it’s just a pre-taste, to make you want more. Which you’ll find here.)

Evan Rachel Wood Is Gucci Guilty Perfume Ad Campaign Girl
August 12th, 2010 by kpriss
What was I saying earlier? Oh – yeah, the Diesel Be Stupid campaign: what’s really going through marketing’s dep heads right now? I mean – how do they end up with this kind of ads/titles? Do they go deep into some cave somewhere, listening to Gaga all day and smoking? Just asking…
Evan Rachel Wood is the face for Gucci’s latest perfume : Guilty. Without even getting into the obvious (like where’s Evan Rachel Wood in this ad), I’ll just be picking on the perfume name. Guilty? Really, Gucci? Was that your best shot? (via)

Dakota Fanning Is Dazed And Confused In September 2010
August 12th, 2010 by kpriss
Now that’s a cover girl! And that’s an artsy cover. To my eye. Not just because Dakota Fanning’s immensely talented acting self is going further and higher into the Hollywood hills but also because the images, as photographed by Mark Segal, fell so quiet and still manage to say so much at the same time. So very Dazed and Confused this September 2010!
I like this girl. She’s got the talent, she’s got the force and she’s got the determination to do it right. Hopefully (fingers crossed) she’ll be safely growing into a fine young lady, without all the drama and the unnecessary excess surrounding your usual teen-star-now-grown-up-troubled-adult. (the story continues right after the jump with more images)

7 For All Mankind And Mika Ninagawa Flowers Print Must
August 12th, 2010 by kpriss
I warned you there was something floral in the air, didn’t I? At least as far as big prints are involved! I talked you through Christopher Kane’s latest prints (still exploring the wild life, I give him that much) now it’s time for some Seven for All Mankind tees.
Teaming up with photographer Mika Ninagawa may not mean the world to everyone out there. However, the new bold, lifefull T-shirts definitely catch everyone’s eye. Seven pieces (printed jeans and a pair of shorts) will be launched in just a few days (August 18th) with prices ranging from $147 to $316. Art don’t come cheap, eh? (via)
