Lanvin Resort Summer 2012 Collection. Lanvin Children Collection

Though I promise I’m not looking for news about, related or revolving around children, I keep finding kids goodies! Lanvin just presented their Summer 2012 Resort Collection (for women) and with it, came a lil’ surprise: Lanvin for the little ones!

Funny and cute, the collection looks adorable and I’m sure we’ll be seeing it around Suri Cruise (and the likes of Suri, only deprived of paparazzi). It reminded me so much of Victoria Beckham’s out of the box campaign for Marc Jacobs! Am I the only one? Now I’m having a serious case of couture flu – the sewing bug is itching me big time, I have to go put something together for my wee daughter! All the frills and thrills of this four figured Lanvin collection for kids had me mesmerized! (photos via)

Helena Bonham Carter’s Marc Jacobs Fall Winter 2011 2012 Ad Campaign

If I was to think and attribute a designer / ad campaign to Helena Bonham – Carter’s personality, I would most definitely had opted for Vivienne Westwood. Something about Dame Viv’s designs and couture character was a perfect fit for Helena.

Much to my surprise, I discovered that Helena Bonham – Carter was, as of this season, the spokesface for Marc Jacobs’ Fall Winter 2011 2012 ad campaign. Photographed by Juergen Teller, the campaign’s so far surfaced images show a cramped Helena, all twisted, sad and clowny – the only thing that keeps popping in my mind is an alternative poster for the upcoming Harry Potter? H & M’s Fall 2011 Children Collection To Benefit UNICEF

There’s a special initiative coming from the Swedish fashion giant retailer Hennes and Mauritz. Their H & M All for Children program with UNICEF will be launched this fall (October, to be more specific) in 160 stores around the world.

Children clothes will be sold by H&M and 25% of the sales prices go towards UNICEF. With Gap betting on haute designers like Diane Von Furstenberg for an upcoming kids line and H&M taking out the big charity guns, the children clothing collections draw more and more the attention of retailers around the world. Is this safe to call this the “Suri Cruise fashion up syndrome”? (via)

Mariah Carey’s Lollipop Splash The Remix Perfumes

Since Mariah Carey had her twins, little has been heard of her (professionally). Of course nasty rumors circulated saying that she was drinking alcohol while nursing and the Social Serviced had to follow up and pay her a visit, however, all that proved to as effective as putting rainbows in a jar, for the rumors were plain nasty and baseless.

Now getting back to Mariah Carey, the professional – remember she had a series of perfumes called Lollipop? Well, come this very July, Mariah will launch the Lollipop Splash the Remix perfumes! If you can’t sing something new, mix something old, eh, Mariah? Inseparable, Never Forget You and Vision of Love, the usual scents mixed with jelly beans and French Macaroon for this edition. I’m enthusiastic about the Remix, but I think I’ll wait the Ft edition or better – the best of? (via)

Agyness Deyn Photographed By James Franco For Elle Magazine

Agyness Deyn was seen around James Franco and was believed to be more than what today shows us it could have been. In short – people thought there was something going on between James and Aggy. However, today, some photographs of Agyness surfaced. Taken by James Franco, the artsy.

Whether this so called fashion exploit will be follow by future fashmagazines engagements it is yet uncertain. What is sure is that James Franco will debut an art installation consisting of photos, videos and more at the Venice Biennale. Hereby Agyness Deyn, Imogen Poots and Natalia Bonifacci to help him fight the art cum fashion cause. James may be a very gifted individual, I just don’t see it yet. Do you? Jennifer Aniston’s Marie Claire July 2011

New movie, new fashion magazine cover. Or more fashion magazine covers! That’s how the entertainment world goes round in the fashion carousel. In case you’re wondering, just like I did, why Jennifer Aniston is covering Marie Claire July 2011 (multiple covers issue, mind you!) – the answer is simple – she has a new movie coming out next month – Horrible Bosses.

Yes, that justifies her wearing a tux and little else on the main Marie Claire cover (and frolicking next to some male costars in the other three covers: Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, Jason Sudeikis). In the mean time, in gossip outlets around the world, the news about Jennifer being plastered with “home wrecker” makes more waves than her Marie Claire cover. I hope the movie is good – after all, the cast includes Kevin Spacey and Colin Farrell! Can’t wait to see it! (more images right after the jump, click here for the gallery!) (Marie Claire via)

Tobey Maguire’s Prada Fall 2011 Ad Campaign

When I first heard that the Spider Man movie franchise was going forward without Tobey Maguire I said to myself what Spider Man is that without Spider Man? It was only today that I finally came to realize why Tobey Maguire had left the spider web!

He had found a more fashionable one: Tobey Maguire is the new spokesface for the Prada Fall Winter 2011 2012 Ad Campaign! The first advertorial images as photographed by David Sims are already circulating and I must admit, Tobey makes a very fashionable and highly stylish Spider-Man! Wouldn’t you say? (The Amazing Spider-Man will reportedly be released next year and Andrew Garfield is the new Spider-Man; via)
