A Hermes Birkin Green Ostrich Bag In Transformers 3 Dark Side Of The Moon!
June 29th, 2011 by kpriss
There’s a few things you will have to follow in this new Transformers 3, Dark of the Moon, aside from the glorious special effects. At least as far as I am concerned. The first one, biensur, is Rosie Huntington – Whiteley’s acting (as opposed to Megan Fox).
Then there’s the inevitable product placement you will be confronted with during the movie. And I’m not talking about iPads (though you will notice at least one) or Cisco routers. I’m talking fashion, baby! Fashion! If I will have to notice Transformers accessories – Louis Vuitton and Hermes bags! Yes, not even on the Dark Side of the Moon you can’t stay away from LV and Hermes, nor can you hide from Michael Bay’s white clothing ambition!
So if you happen to get inside the theatre for a full action packed Transformers session and Michael Bay’s distinctively explosive style won’t numb your fashion attention, then you may be able to find there’s a Hermes Birkin Green Ostrich bag starring in this flick! Right next to a Louis Vuitton.
Kelly Osbourne Is A Material Girl
June 29th, 2011 by kpriss
I’m happy they changed the Material Girl spokesperson! Because I couldn’t relate with Taylor Momsen. Not that I would be susceptible of being a Material Girl from tip to toes, but I surely can relate more to Kelly’s joy and love of life than I do to Taylor’s wanting to be different and goth – special.
Kelly Osbourne has turned out to be a lovely young lady after all! I’m curious where this Material Girl adventure will go. For now it’s just fun for Lourdes and Madonna. And whoever they choose for the next season. Do you think they really make some commercial sense? (there’s a video right after the jump, don’t miss it!) (via)

Gwyneth Paltrow’s Table Style
June 29th, 2011 by kpriss
For those of you familiar with the Fight Club ways, the saying “What would Tyler Durden do” is applicable to a wide range of whatnots. I think, ever since her Goop era started, Gwyneth can now be subject to the same saying “What would Gwyneth Paltrow do”. It sure sounds good, doesn’t it?
Anyhow, this is something I’ve been keeping in my Inspiration Board (on my computer desktop, I don’t really have a wall high inspiration board. I would actually need a skyscraper wall high inspiration board to fit every and any thing I find inspirational) and for no particular reason (okay, maybe because I’m in a home deco mood? Just don’t tell anyone! Shhhhh!), I’m sharing it with you today. It’s Gwyneth Paltrow’s Easter Table setting. (more images right after the jump! click here for the gallery!)
Jessica Stam Vs. Mobile Phones
June 28th, 2011 by kpriss
We’ve seen models migrating from the catwalk to the big / small screen. We even have Rosie Huntington – Whiteley getting ready to take over the world in the new Transformers (Dark of the Moon). We even have lovely redheaded Lily Cole brilliantly studying at Cambridge University.
But did you know that Jessica Stam was writing? Not the novel – writing kind (though who knows? Maybe one day? “catwalk memoirs” by Jessica Stam sounds good, eh?). I recently found a column written by Jessica Stam, model, and talking about mobile phones and their impact on socializing and togetherness. Below some fragments (you can find the article here). What about it? (photo via)
In today’s world of new media, there is never a shortage of information. In fact, at times I feel that many people, including myself, are overwhelmed with amount and frequency of information that comes pouring into our lives on a daily basis.
It’s easy to look and sound important when you have an information stream in the palm of your hand or at your ear — but the people who continue to impress me are the ones who can justify their intelligence through genuine storytelling and through provoking conversation.

Glittery Glamorous Wedding Manicure
June 28th, 2011 by kpriss
Are you in the summer wedding mood? Because it’s there, you know? The season? The weddings season? I thought I’d bring a brim of inspiration to all of those future brides out there who are desperately seeking for inspiration and ideas (sigh, like we all did at that bridal time of our lives).
Today it’s about manicure. Glittery, glamorous, wedding appropriate manicure! Not that you can’t wear it anywhere else, but one look at these nails suffice to tell you that whoever wears this kind of nail art is getting ready for some special event! So tell me – did you had special manicure done to you for your wedding? Or was it a diy thing? (via)
Christian Louboutin’s Home In Egypt
June 28th, 2011 by kpriss
Did you ever dream of owning a house in every (major) city of the world? Okay, maybe not in every (major) city, but at least in some parts of the world? I do, sometimes. And not just because it would be nice, but also because of what it means to have a party of six on the road and booking for suited and suitable accommodations? Yeah. So. Back to fashion?
Here’s Christian Louboutin’s home in Egypt. Because he comes here twice a year (possibly more often) to vacation, to dream, to get inspired and look at the stars. The ones in the sky, not the ones loving his red soles! Where would you want to have a empty – your – mind – kind – of – home? (more images right after the jump, click here for the gallery!) Emma Stone’s Vanity Fair’s August 2011
June 28th, 2011 by kpriss
Oh wow! Look, August magazines are out! The lovely Emma Stone covers the August 2011 issue of Vanity Fair. And boy, does she look amazing, or what?
It’s particularly great since Emma is originally a gorgeous redhead and now she’s all blonde and truly beautiful also! I love her versatility (and I don’t know which to choose? Redhead or blonde). Her photo session took place on the marvelous isle of St Barth under the directions of highly esteemed photographed Patrick Demarchelier. I’m in complete, absolute, infinite awe about what the aftereffects can do to a picture? Look at the setting (in the video after the jump) and look at the final result! Who needs natural light? Lady Gaga Would Wear… Finsk Sandals
June 27th, 2011 by kpriss
This is something only Lady Gaga would wear, I believe. As it is a marvelous shoe, outstandingly creative but implacably dangerous for anywearer’s health (plus those of the ones surrounding him / her at the inevitable time of his / her fall)!
I stumbled across the Finsk 116-97 style sandal (or whatever it’s called) in Cinza (that’s the color / model as I understood) and I thought I should come present it to you! Because you may miss out on Louvre, but you can’t miss out on this kind of shoes extravaganza (joking, biensur! Although, I’d happily take Louvre instead of this Finsk $999,95 sandal! How about you?) (more about the finsk creativity here)
