Natalia Vodianova’s Arnault. Antoine Arnault.
August 18th, 2011 by kpriss
You may have heard that Natalia Vodianova was officially splitting from her husband of nine years (and three children), Justin Portman. However, once a billionaire, always a billionaire, so Natalia Vodianova got herself (allegedly) a fancy new rich boyfriend: Antoine Arnault. Bernard Arnault’s son (Bernard Arnault is the head of LVMH).
The two were recently seen happily vacationing in Ibiza, with Natalia’s kids. Let’s make this a happy day: congrats to the new couple! May their romance live forever?

Beyonce’s InStyle September 2011
August 18th, 2011 by kpriss
Starry, starry September issues! I can’t help but associate golden dresses covers with Christmas and New Year’s Issues? It happens to you too?
Take for instance Beyonce’s InStyle September 2011 cover as photographed by Michelangelo Di Battista: she’s wearing a glittery gold starry Dolce and Gabbana (very) mini dress. Which is dreamy gorgeous and can’t make me think of anything else except New Year’s Eve Party! I have a seriously soft spot for InStyle, I also love a good healthy ear – to – ear smile, so I think I’m sold! How about you? (check out the video right after the jump!) (InStyle via)

The Season’s It Skirt. Seriously Different Perspective
August 17th, 2011 by kpriss
This is too good to pass out on! Remember we talked about that Louis Vuitton skirt that’s allover the place this season? The styling we’re used to see is the same one we saw on Katie Holmes. And Heidi.
How about this styling below? Pretty challenging, huh? It’s Russia’s Prima Ballerina Diana Vishneva as featured in the September 2011 issue of Vogue Russia and as photographed by Patrick Demarchelier. I’m speechless. Fashion as art. Yes! Totally! Fashion as a sm tool? Average (I’m trying hard to be positive). (via)
Natasha Poly’s Vogue Russia September 2011
August 17th, 2011 by kpriss
Over photoshopping and dubious styling must be the new it in Russia. From Heidi Klum’s HB to Natasha Poly’s Vogue Russia September 2011, awkward defines the Russian September magazines.
Can you actually believe that Hedi Slimane is the photographer? Natasha looks beautiful, true, unrecognizable (I thought it was Kate Moss in some of the images, not Natasha – check out the images after the jump) and unnatural. It’s a cover you will most certainly notice on the newsstand, so you may say that photoshop or not, Hedi Slimane’s magic has worked again! (photo via)
Check Out Givenchy’s Panther Sunglasses!
August 17th, 2011 by kpriss
Oh wow! This is good! Check out this pair of stunning shades signed Givenchy! What you see there are genuinely reproduced Panther silhouettes!
Talk about cat – eyes? Riccardo Tisci is stepping up the shades game with this pair which (only) costs $650. No other logo is visible other than the Panther. There’s more than just black in the collection, if you’re in for vivid colors (very much a la mode this fall), you can choose from purple, blue and yellow or even pony skin and velvet Panther shades! Meow much? (Givenchy via)
Guerlain Candles. Light Up Your Fashion!
August 17th, 2011 by kpriss
Talking about Harper’s Bazaar Russia: there’s a particular candle by Guerlain called “Hiver en Russie” (Winter in Russia). I’d like to take a moment and think about it because I want all the HB bad memories to go away. Care to join me?
Guerlain’s candles Hiver and Russie and Boudoir Venitien join the preexistent Guerlain candles collection. Nothing out of the ordinary so far. Checking out the details now. The black one has notes of samovar tea, myrrh, incense and hot wax (ummm… wait, what?) as for the golden one – it smells like makeup (what the..? makeup? Mkay, moving on…) rice powder, silk and flowers. I wish I knew the price of these interesting fragranced candles!
Fall’s Must Have Look: Heidi Klum’s HB Russia September 2011
August 17th, 2011 by kpriss
If you want to be high as a fashion fly this fall season, you’ll have to try and duplicate, if not entirely acquire the following cover look. You’ll recognize elements from Louis Vuitton as you’ve probably seen them before on Katie Holmes? And I’m sure many more will try and spread this look throughout the season.
Heidi Klum has a September 2011 cover: Harper’s Bazaar. Russia, but HB nevertheless! And most of all, September! The Fashion Issue! Now about the cover – honestly – if it were in your power, wouldn’t you fire the stylist who worked on this cover and chose this photo, as it is now, to be the official cover? It’s just embarrassing (sad, sad face)! (via)
