Oh! This could have been so beautiful on so many levels! So, so beautiful! Instead we’re having three supermodels, amazingly gorgeous women with a terribly expressionless face, trying to pose seductively for Vogue Espana September 2011.

Claudia Schiffer, Eva Herzigova, Helena Christensen photographed by Tom Munro wearing starry Dolce & Gabbana outfits can also be seen individually for the Spanish edition of Vogue September 2011. Maybe the cover below, with all three of them is the newsstand cover while individual covers with Claudia, Eva or Helena are the covers reserved for the subscribers? Either way, you can see more images, with Claudia, after the jump and a video with scenes from the London photoshooting right after the jump! (Vogue via)

I am gobsmacked by the awfulness of the cover!

Helena appears like a drag queen…then I scanned left and damme! So do the other two!

Horrible. Such a waste.

Such a waste! Exactly! And then we go around and talk smack about Anna! Shame on us!

I’m surprised that Vogue E. even paid for a new picture. Normally they just re edit material from other magazines. The actual editor is a nightmare. I even wrote to Conde Naste 3 years ago complaining about her.
Curiously when one watches the making of it, one can see several much better shots that have been ignored.

You did? Well done! They should treat people with more respect and know better before delivering such a lame product!

when I moved to Berlin I kept buying it,just to keep informed on what was going on there (more than 8 times the price in Spain!!) and the articles were all of them, no exception, from american Vogue, which I had read at least 3 months before…
Lame indeed..
Yolanda Sacristán, worst magazine editor, EVER!

Oh, that is just so lame? They don’t get the budget to cut new, original stories? So she’s been there for a while, you say? She must be someone’s protegee…

and forget about articles on women in politics,on feminism or women’s health. only the most superficial from american Vogue or W.

Helena Christensen was always one of my favs – back in the day but she seems to be hogging the camera with dire results. Ultimately this cover is a shocker – they look like drag queens & that is an insult to fabu drag queens the world over!
