Here’s Marion Cotillard’s Baby Boy, Marcel!
August 31st, 2011 by kpriss
And here are the first pictures of Marion Cotillard and Guillaume Canet’s baby boy! The precious baby, born May 19 2011, looks adorable and just like his mum and dad!
Although the picture is far from being the most eloquent, I still think he’s too cute for words (just like all wee babies are). Chapeau for the proud maman who’s perfectly in shape and looking radiant, so soon after the birth of her baby! (it’s funny how the spokesperson for Christian Dior’s bags can nonchalantly and carelessly wear such an ostentatiously different bag brand)
Models On Film
August 31st, 2011 by kpriss
As happy and as excited I was about Gemma Ward’s role in the Pirates of the Caribbean, I was pretty disappointed when, upon watching the movie, I came to realize that her appearance was rather short and in no way at the magnitude of her model might.
Anyway, the models on film wave goes strong with a new role for Gemma in the upcoming Great Gatsby rendition (which already started filming and stars Leonardo Di Caprio as Gatsby). The next model on film is Marisa Miller who joined the cast of R.I.P.D. alongside Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges. Not bad for an angel, huh?
Brad Pitt Is A Very Fashionable Guy. Not!
August 31st, 2011 by kpriss
(since you were talking Angelina and Brad earlier today, I thought a surprise would be in order – wink) Although I’m convinced he regards himself as a very stylish and innovative guy, Brad Pitt should really hire himself a stylist because he simply has to stop doing this to himself. And us.
Certainly proud of his white and beige combo, Brad Pitt was spotted at the movie with the kids dressed in a white cardi with black buttons and a pair of beige, loose fitting, distressed pants and white sneakers. Now I’m no specialist in men’s wardrobe, but this looks like a midlife crisis fashion. Either that or he has Angelina styling his looks. And she’s reputed for her bland style moves! Girls, would you dress your man like this?

Alicia Keys, Jennifer Aniston, Demi Moore Do Glamour October 2011
August 31st, 2011 by kpriss
Alicia Keys. Jennifer Aniston. Demi Moore: now these are some of the most unlikely friends or cover friends I could have ever imagined! As it turns out, they’re all three involved in a very important project (breast cancer awareness) and they’re doing the best they can to make it relevant (not to mention the refreshing idea of having to deal with any of them without necessarily gossiping about their men choices. Which defines all three of them as controversial).
And that’s great. Any good cause speaks right to my heart. Anyway, as far as the cover fashion goes, all three girls are wearing simple, casual outfits – tees and jeans – probably to draw more attention to their gorgeous personas above all (or to the noble cause they’re here for). Surprising cover from Glamour. I like it! Do you?

The Evolution Of Style. London Style
August 31st, 2011 by kpriss
This is great! You simply have to watch this (too) short clip and feel the fashion energy! You’ll see a group of very talented individuals who master the art of moving graciously and wearing with distinct fashion all kinds of music and clothing styles.
In short – 100 years of fashion (London fashion, but fashion has no real boundaries after all) in 100 seconds! I loved each and every one of those seconds! Convince yourself, press on play and enjoy!
Louis Vuitton’s Marc Jacobs Exhibition Confirms Dior Position?
August 30th, 2011 by kpriss
You know the word on the fashstreet is that Marc Jacobs is packing his Louis Vuitton cases and heading up to Dior. The house of Christian Dior, leaved without head designer after the Galliano scandal, was courting various designers for a while.
LVMH has decided to look in their own backyard and offer the position to the overwhelmingly successful Marc Jacobs. Whether he accepted or not, it is yet to be officially confirmed. However, a valuable hint that the Dior job is on the way is the LVMH organized retrospective exhibition to honor Marc Jacobs, the Louis Vuitton artistic director of 14 years. I wonder if he plans a Beyonce – like move – at the end of his LV NY Fashion show he takes the catwalk, dramatically drops a LV bag and then rubs his Lady Dior purse… hmmm

Sofia Coppola, The Bride, Wore A Lavender Azzedine Alaia Wedding Dress
August 30th, 2011 by kpriss
If inspiration for a summer wedding is what you’re looking for, you should consider the following! Sofia Coppola got married over the weekend in Italy to her longtime rocker boyfriend Thomas Mars, the Phoenix frontman. Congrats to the happy couple, now let’s get on to the style business! (wink)
Sofia Coppola, the Bride, was all dreamy gorgeous in a lavender wedding gown designed by Azzedine Alaia especially for the occasion. I know the bridal trend is white right now, and all brides dream of wearing long white veils, but isn’t Sofia spectacularly stylish, particularly charming and, above all, adorably happy? Now – how about the wedding dress? (AP via)
Agyness Deyn’s Elle UK Cover October 2011
August 30th, 2011 by kpriss
Are we witnessing a little comeback for Agyness Deyn? Because her latest magazine cover (oh, yeah, you’re reading that right!), Elle October 2011, the UK edition, is simply gorgeous!
Granted, it’s Frida Giannini’s hand, who acts as a Guest Editor for the issue, however, Agyness looks flawless and (I can’t believe I’m actually saying that!) feminine!
Two more covers follow this one, with, respectively, Joan Smalls and Rosie Huntington Whiteley as cover stars (Rosie is turning into a real star since Transformers).
I don’t know about you, but this looks like a must have for me! Thank you, Frida Giannini, thank you Elle! Beautiful! Fashionably flawless! (can’t wait for the other two covers, especially Joan’s!)
