Naomi Campbell’s Magic, Egyptian House
September 28th, 2011 by kpriss
This was on my mind a few days back and haven’t come around to cover it properly. I’ll give up waiting and thinking and go ahead with talking about it. What do you think the picture below shows?
And no, it’s not one of those ET – cornfield drawings you see in viral email attachments. It’s Naomi Campbell’s future home. Click through to inspect it closely. The house is actually a holiday residence and although we see rendered images of a project and distant photographs, the house was apparently already built on a private island in Turkey. The eye of Horus shape was intentional, make no mistake about it! Let’s dip in!

September 28th, 2011 by kpriss
Remember we talked about Nicki Minaj wearing an interesting piece of necklace. A meaty one? A pink fried chicken wing necklace?
Well, daaahlings, the said Pink (handmade) Fried Chicken Wing necklace is now on sale and you can have it for just $79,99 (downmarked from $100)! Or you can just get creative with a bucket full of Kentucky Fried Chicken crispy wings and make all your fiends happy! Do you dare to wear the Pink Fried Chicken Wing necklace?

Anna Wintour Wants Kate The Duchess On Vogue’s Cover
September 28th, 2011 by kpriss
Rumors circulate saying that Anna Wintour would like to have Kate Middleton, now Duchess of Cambridge, on the cover of Vogue US. The feared editor in chief is in awe of Kate’s style and behavior, trying to get Mario Testino to photograph her for a fashion (and more) story (Mario Testino also photographed the Royal couple’s engagement).
There’s no telling if she will do as she pleases since the Duchess is carefully guarded by the Palace and so far already refused a Vogue story from UK’s Alexandra Schulman (who also tried to get Testino on the job, right around the Royal Wedding).
What say you? Will Anna get Kate on Vogue’s cover? (and will it end up looking so bland like the NYmag is trying to show us it will?)

Clive Owen, Toni Garn For Vogue Spain October 2011
September 27th, 2011 by kpriss
I thought it would be a nice hump day start, with a Clive Owen Vogue cover! Bonus: there’s also a model on the cover: Toni Garn. Vogue Spain October 2011 is really pretty to look at.
Let’s open it and see the goodies inside (right after the jump! click here for the gallery). Aside from the obvious strange pairing of a 46yo with a 19yo girl (who could just as well be his daughter, given that the actor has, in real life, two teenage daughters), the pictorial is meant to highlight the glitz of being a Secret Agent (lol) and the advantages of the job – the Femme Fatale (lol again) who comes with the territory.

Kate Moss Jewelry Collection For Fred
September 27th, 2011 by kpriss
Gone are all the Topshop years when we could freely browse and buy pieces inspired by Kate Moss’ wardrobe (also designed by her. Allegedly). Kate is a grown up now. From Topshop through Longchamp now to a Fred Jewelry collection: a pretty sparkling design trajectory, if you ask me!
Kate Moss for Fred Jewelry Collection is inspired by Kate Moss’ tattoos. There’s no word if she has so many, but the collection is comprised of 22 styles with prices ranging from $473 to $47,300. Pretty far from her Topshop prices, huh? Knowing Kate, however, I’m guessing this will also be a success. Doubts, anyone?
Tyra’s Modelland Soon A Movie?
September 27th, 2011 by kpriss
Not much has passed since Tyra Banks launched her first book, Modelland (the first volume of a trilogy). Some of us (read 80%) haven’t either read the book or considered reading it.
Because the last we needed was a Harry Potter with models. This idea, however, might not be shared by the Hollywood elite as Tyra recently claimed she was approached by a film producer (she kept his / her name secret) just after she announced she was publishing the book. Biensur this is just a speculation and the said discussion may have never taken place. But contemplating the perspective of watching the said Harry Potter with models movie, what does you heart tell you?

Molly Sims, The Bride, Wearing Marchesa White Wedding Dress
September 27th, 2011 by kpriss
You were expecting it to be a Vera Wang, weren’t you? Well, it’s Marchesa, daahlings, it’s Marchesa! Molly Sims got married with her longtime boyfriend, producer Scott Stuber this very Saturday wearing a long, mermaid-ish Marchesa white wedding dress.
It was a beautiful summer outdoor wedding, in California’s Napa Valley and the invites list included heavy names like Josh Duhamel with wife Fergie, Vince Vaughn. Now back at the gorgeous white wedding gown: Molly Sims was wearing an exquisite piece from Marchesa’s Spring 2012 collection with less lace on the neckline. Her hair is pulled up in a voluminous bun and, biensur, she was looking gorgeous! (her groom was wearing Tom Ford) Check out the bouquet – full bloom roses in coral and white degrade. Absolutely stunning, a true match for the bride! Congrats to the happy couple!
Louboutins. The Good Side Of The Wearing Story
September 27th, 2011 by kpriss
Last week we talked about the much hyped Christian Louboutin shoes and the possibly, maybe, exaggerated shrine made to Louboutin measure. And you were partially inclined to think that the wear & tear for a first day’s wear could just be a defining (non)quality of every red soled Louboutins.
The magic that is sharing with you sparkled all over this story because we’re now able to hear the good side of the Louboutins wearing story! You all read Allison and what she thought of the destroyed Loubs in a single day’s wear. Now let’s see her arguments! (and let me tell you, they’re pretty strong! Click through to see what I mean!)
