Katherine Heigl’s Gray Dress Vs. Vanessa Hudgens’ Yellow Dress
February 4th, 2012 by kpriss
Remember that green emerald dress worn by Channing Tatum’s wife, Jenna Dewan, at the Golden Globes this year? I liked it – it was daringly different and who doesn’t love a princess gown with long train? It appears that (one) Jenna Dewan, Katherine Heigl and Vanessa Hudgens share the same stylist; or (two) both Katherine and Vanessa love a good princess gown with long train (wink). Either way, all three were wearing very similar dresses from the same designer – Maria Lucia Hohan.
Affordable Stuart Weitzman Million Dollar Sandals
February 4th, 2012 by kpriss
It’s not a joke! Remember how Stuart Weitzman makes these really expensive sandals which are heavy on diamonds and all kinds of precious metals? One of those, which were named “Million Dollar Shoe”, also worn by Laura Harring on the 2002 Oscars Red Carpet even made it on a Postal Stamp (a Spanish postal stamp issued in 2009 to mark the 50th anniversary of shoes factories from Elda, Spain, where Stuart Weitzman shoes are produced). And now, the Million Dollar Shoes will make it to the mainstream!
Swarovski Crystals will take the diamonds’ place and the price tag will sensibly downgrade to a three figures sum. The name becomes Millionairess and will be available for $595. Here’s Natalia Vodianova as photographed by Mario Testino to represent for the Millionairess Swarovski shoes. With shoes like that, who needs clothes, huh?

Jennifer Connelly Representing For Shiseido
February 4th, 2012 by kpriss
Though it would appear that this is not something new for Jennifer, as she advertised for Shiseido in the 80s, I can’t wait to see the visuals for this one! Jennifer Connelly is one of my favorite actresses and I always loved Shiseido’s model choices! (even Angelina Jolie used to advertise for the Japanese high end cosmetics brand)
With a little luck, they won’t be as misleading as those L’Oreal (or Rimmel) ads… Did you actually buy a certain cosmetic product because of who was advertising for it?

Jil Sander Out, Jun Takahashi In At Uniqlo
February 3rd, 2012 by kpriss
Comfy Uniqlo wear with a designer tag? Sure we’ve seen it before, but now it’s time to wave goodbye to +J Jil Sander for Uniqlo collections and give a warm welcome to Jun Takahashi from Undercover. His collections have been branded Uniqlo UU and include designs for both adults and children with prices ranging from $19,90 to $99,90. The campaign looks lovely, I must say! LoUUngewear much?
Styling Rooney Mara
February 3rd, 2012 by kpriss
Everyone is eager to see Rooney Mara’s outfit for the Oscars so until that day, we’ll settle for some Super Bowl (imaginary) Red Carpet. Especially since Rooney’s family is and always has been about (American) football. These is what Rooney Mara wears for the Super Bowl. Possibly. Maybe. Courtesy Chloé and Balmain. (I don’t remember fashion houses designing especially for Blake Lively, though… hmm)
Lana Del Rey’s Vogue UK March 2012
February 3rd, 2012 by kpriss
Lana del Rey on the cover of Vogue UK March 2012 under the tagline “The Fascinating…”. Pink and Lana never paired in my head so it’s a first for me, not to mention for Lana, who’s a Vogue covergirl for the first time in her life – maybe not her last? Anyway, that rules out a Vogue US cover, huh?
Mario Testino’s pictures of Lana from the inside pictorial caught the essence of Lana Del Rey way better than the cover photo (check them out after the jump). It’s like they were from two different photo sessions. It’s a mediocre Vogue, so, hopefully, for those who’ll buy the print magazine, the inside content will prove way more interesting than the cover!
Vogue aside, how do you feel about Lana’s music? (I’m loving her self described style: “gangsta Nancy Sinatra” – she’s the very product of today’s fashion web – styled generation!)
Urban Outfitters Outfits Disney’s Princesses
February 3rd, 2012 by kpriss
We all loved Disney’s Princesses. We grew up with them, our children love them too and I do believe it’s one of those never ending love stories!
As such, I’m sure our beloved Princesses could benefit from a wardrobe update. With the kind of clothes you’d get from Urban Outfitters. Fashionistas up to their teeth, really! They should start a personal style blog any day now! (wink)
Gisele Bundchen’s Salvatore Ferragamo Spring Summer 2012 Ad Campaign
February 3rd, 2012 by kpriss
Salvatore Ferragamo’s spokesperson for the Spring Summer 2012 Ad Campaign is none the other but the world’s top earning model, Gisele Bundchen. Flawless. Sun is shining, sky is blue, water’s perfect, Gisele’s legs too! It’s got to be tough to be so gorgeous and keep that wax – like self sufficient attitude.
