Favorite Summer Dress: Hermes Suede Tunic
March 20th, 2012 by kpriss
Though it’s clearly a matter of daydreaming more than anything else, including this heavenly gorgeous orange tunic in my favorite summer dress list has a special, therapeutic value for me.
This tiny piece of orange suede haunted me for almost a week, so here it is! I give up! I have to share, maybe I’ll get over obsessing about it so much! Hermes Suede Tunic! $8.350 people! And if you add the suede T – shirt (which everyone can notice underneath, also from Hermes, with an equally scary price tag – $4.585) I might as well say that today’s favorite summer dress / look is worth the price of a decent car! beautiful, but still – a car!
Lily Cole’s Melissa Power Of Love Ad Campaign
March 20th, 2012 by kpriss
Remember Melissa? Yes, it’s your Plastic Fantastic footwear destination so coveted by fashionistas and designers alike that it’s getting almost impossible to ignore. I admit I’d be willing to try on a pair of Melissa sandals just to see what they feel like!
Until the day my curiosity will push me to actually go and try some Melissa, let’s do some fashionable staring! The lovely Lily Cole, who’s been more active in the academic circles than on the catwalk (oh, and on the big screen – I have yet to see The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus in which she has a leading role), is fronting Melissa’s new Ad Campaign. (do check out the images right after the jump; click here for the gallery!)
Jennifer Lopez: To Sing Or Not To Sing At The Met Ball
March 20th, 2012 by kpriss
If yesterday the blogosphere was all about Jennifer Lopez singing at the Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Gala this year, today, the Vogue people quickly issued a statement saying that Jennifer was in no way booked for the 2012 edition of the prestigious Met Ball. I wonder, though: was that an audience test and following the negative response, JLo was signed off? (photos via, photochopping Stylefrizz)
Karolina Kurkova, Crystal Renn Interview’s Institutionalized In White.By Steven Klein
March 20th, 2012 by kpriss
Hardly your average fashion pictorial, Steven Klein’s photo session with Karolina Kurkova and Crystal Renn from Interview magazine is set to make some fashion noise! Though I’m certain that fashion people, in their quest for extraordinary will hurry in pinning this with impeccably positive attributes, I’m compelled to remind them that this would be a great moment to apologize to Franca Sozzani for calling her “Over the Top” story over the top.
(if you think the image below doesn’t imply begging for fashion forgiveness from sweet, innocent Franca, do head on to Interview’s website to check out the rest of the pictorial. And then do as your heart tells you to! Don’t forget to comment on the state of things after you’ve seen the entire set!)

Sofia Vergara Does Esquire In April 2012
March 19th, 2012 by kpriss
After seeing Sofia Vergara InStyle’s outtakes, here’s a look at her (tasteful) Esquire Magazine pictures. She’s the cover girl of the magazine’s April 2012 issue and she’s looking as amazing as always! Even the interview in interesting and fun.
So, if you’re just like me, and you love Modern Family (and if you don’t love it, then you’ve never watched it! You simply can’t watch Modern Family and not love it!), Sofia Vergara’s Secrets from Esquire’s Cover story could be your midday fun reading. Because, even though I’m not a man, I too love Sofia Vergara. She’s fun. I love people who laugh and who make you laugh. It’s a healthy, great sport! (and I’m sure Sofia doesn’t ask herself if she’s skinny fat too often!)

A Day In Karl Lagerfeld’s Life. About Lagerfeld’s Home And His Beauty Products
March 19th, 2012 by kpriss
There’s something about Karl… And we all know he’s fascinating and we can’t help but be interested in him and always keep an open ear at what he says. And boy, does he say things! Take for instance a recent interview Karl Lagerfeld honored Kristina O’Neill with in Harper’s Bazaar: 24 Hours with Karl Lagerfeld.
Three pages of whatnots he’s doing daily. His 7 hours of sleep, his nightgown, his morning protein shakes, his reading, on paper, his Klorane dry shampoo, his paintings, his baths, his Dior clothes. Karl is like a living, walking, talking museum!
I actually have two houses. This house here, it’s only for sleeping and sketching, and I have another house two-and-a-half meters away for lunch and dinner and to see people, and where the cook is and all that.
