When the news about Adriana Lima’s second pregnancy got out, I was going through some stories about Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima (and one, in particular, with Adriana Lima, who you’ll see in the video below under the slogan “The Beach Belongs To Bombshells“. Hence the title of this very article). Both Victoria’s Secret Angels had given birth to a child a couple of years back.

However, I’m certain that the girls had serious contractual responsibility towards Victoria’s Secret, so they had to get back fast and honor them. And so they did! But once the pregnancy – birth rollercoaster was put in motion, another responsibility ensued, even more important than the VS one: being a role model for mothers all over the world. We knew the man was absolute fun and that he loves music & dancing. But did you actually hear him sing? Because if you haven’t, here’s your chance now! For the celebration of his 10 years absolute reign with Lanvin, Alber Elbaz threw a party. And what a party it was indeed! Celebrities were stacked like sardines. Dancing, laughing, partying sardines! But enough of that, let’s hear Alber Elbaz sing Doris Day Que Sera Sera! Adorable!

While modeling may still look like one of the most wonderful jobs on the planet, some insiders are trying hard to make it look more like what it actually is rather than couture lollipops (and good for them! otherwise either one of our tween girls could end up doing a photo shoot with Uncle Terry…).

As such, model and activist Sara Ziff, founder of Model Alliance, joined efforts with one of the Jezebel writers, also former model herself, Jenna Sauers, to reveal as much as possible in a survey sent to 241 models. Of which only 85 answered. Even so, the facts stand straight and speak loud about the industry. Take a look for yourself:

It’s raining babies on Victoria’s Secret‘s catwalk! Adriana Lima just announced the happy news: that she and husband Marko Jaric are expecting their second child (they’re already parents to 2yo Valentina)! Adriana must have entered her second trimester (pretty much everyone reveals the pregnancy news when entering the second trimester) so she’s due (approximately) in September, this year. Congrats to the happy family, may she be blessed with a healthy, easy pregnancy!

Charlotte Casiraghi is notorious for many things. Among which her aristocratic descent (she’s the daughter of Caroline, Princess of Hanover; her grandmother was none the other but Princess Grace of Monaco); her love for all thing equestrian (Charlotte is riding horses in official competitions for years now) and her collaboration with Gucci.

There’s a special relationship between Gucci’s Frida Giannini and Charlotte as the costumes she’s wearing to the equestrian competitions are designed by Frida specifically for the little Princess (which means the clothes in question never see the light of day beyond Charlotte’s closet). While the title may confuse you, I assure you that both statements are equally true! Miranda Kerr wants everyone to mobilize for Earth Hour through YouTube. “I Will if You Will” is Miranda’s Earth Hour challenge and if 500 people will submit their challenge on youtube dot com / earthhour, Miranda Kerr is going to be your yoga instructor! (I’m not sure how that works, but I’m positive that many people will take Miranda’s I Will if You Will to the meme level!)

You Can’t Fake Fashion is a great initiative started by eBay and CFDA (the Council of Fashion Designers of America) in their efforts to minimize the impact of counterfeit goods on original fashion. By substituting the fake goods with “Can’t Fake Fashion” goods.

And to be perfectly honest, judging by the looks of the totes created for the cause, they might stand a chance. Maybe. Diane von Furstenberg, Ralph Lauren, Tory Burch, Robert Geller, Tommy Hilfiger, The Row and many other designers interpreted the anti – counterfeit tote in their manner. Nars Cosmetics seems to be on a very creative streak this year! Not only they’re issuing a nail polish collection inspired by the Thakoon Spring Summer 2012 collection (more specifically by the hair in the said Thakoon runway presentation), but they’re also working on an Andy Warhol collection!

Judging by the look of the Nars Thakoon collection below, Nars Warhol is going to be at least twice as eye hurting! ahem… madly colored! The collection is expected for this Fall Winter 2012 and it’s said to have “innovative packaging, formulas and shades”. Pretty much like Warhol reinvented art, Nars is keen on reinventing makeup. With a little help from Warhol, biensur! (I’m so curious to see what kind of innovative formulas and shades they’ve come up with!)
