One of my favorite movies ever: Up. I know I told you that before and I know you weren’t necessarily ready to hear it again. But I found Up to be so inspiring, it often pops up in my mind Monday morning. Bringing me inspiration for a brand new week.
I found this lovely photo session from one of the most talented couple of photographers I’ve had the pleasure of seeing online with a really irresistible theme: Up. Recreating Carl & Ellie’s home and life style was an easy task with Lisa and Geoff Bardot (The Goodness) who are just as charming as the real deal! So this is just one of those moments in fashion articles I like every once in a while. Hoping you’re enjoying this brief Up – break just as much as I am! Topshop New Shoes 2012 Collection: CJG

CJG. Any idea where that comes from? Chloe Jade Green. Yes, as in Sir Philip Green’s daughter. When Kate Moss ended her collaboration with Topshop is was rumoredly because of Chloe wanting her own fashion slice in her father’s Topshop cake. And 2012 is the year CJG shoes collection breaks in stores. I doubt, however, that the CJG jade soles will push Chloe’s fashion to the same level of fame as Kate Moss’ collection.
CR, Carine Roitfeld’s Magazine First Issue, Fall Winter 2012

After weeks of speculations and rumors, the name of Carine Roitfeld’s next editorial project has been unveiled. Nothing simpler – the magazine will be called CR Fashion Book, like Carine used to sign her editorial letter back chez Vogue.
A mock – up cover has been presented for advertising purposes (contracting & so on) and, wwd has learned exclusive details about Carine’s upcoming Fashion Book. Besides what we already knew, that the magazine’s first issue will see the light of the newsstands this September (issue 0 reads the mock up cover), Carine vowed it’ll be different. Also irreverent, but different. (more images right after the jump)
Louboutin Replica Sandals By Jessica Simpson

So have you heard that Jessica Simpson has a Louboutin lookalike sandal in one of her recent shoes collection? The sandals in question, which sold at apx 10% of the original Louboutin sandals’ price, could very well bring legal trouble in Jessica Simpson’s fashion empire. Do you think Louboutin will ignore Jessica’s copycat? Below the image of the two sandals: at left, Louboutin’s Staratata ($995), and Jessica Simpson’s Evangela at right ($98).

Harper’s Bazaar China May 2012 with Victoria Beckham is like nothing you’ve seen of Posh so far! Not only is she looking like she’d be half the age she really is (Victoria is going to celebrate her 38th anniversary in less than a week), but the styling is so becoming, that Victoria looks torn from some fancy video game! The photography was flawlessly executed by Chen Man and, after the jump, you’ll see two more images from the inside pictorial.

Architectural Digest Shows Karl Lagerfeld’s Paris Apartment

After we’ve seen pictures from Lagerfeld’s New York Apartment (which is for sale, but nevertheless, it was der Kaiser’s apartment for a while), we now have a guided tour of Lagerfeld’s Parisian Apartment in the French edition of the Architectural Digest. Because, although we’ve seen so many pictures of Karl’s impressive place, we can’t get enough of the majestic artsyness that is Lagerfeld’s home décor display!
And the major attraction of Lagerfeld’s home are the massive stacks of books! We’ve seen and heard so much about der Kaiser’s passion for books, it’s hard to think of his apartment and dissociate it from the humongous library within. I’m so curious to hear what he has to say about his home this time! Back in 2009 when Elle Décor Japan did a feature on Lagerfeld’s Parisian Apartment, the notorious designer said:
“My Apartment is not a house – it’s a spaceship for the city where you don’t feel bound by the earth”

Who’s magazine cover this month is Miranda Kerr with adorable baby boy Flynn. Doesn’t he look like Orlando? Totally?
Miranda is the cover girl and no. 1 pick of Who’s Most Beautiful people 2012 issue (Who is Australia’s most notable gossip magazine). If you think the cover is flawless, wait till you hear what Miranda said in the inside interview: Flynn is “like a little ball of sunshine” and that now she prioritized her life: wife, mother and then work. Perfection much?
