Few days back, we were treated with a weird – looking Lara Stone on the cover of Vogue Paris’ September 2012. As since her marriage to British Comedian David Walliams, Lara has kept a lower fashion profile, I thought she had changed. But no. Looking back at us, more radiant than ever, Lara Stone as she was casually heading back home after dinner with her husband and their cute dog! How is your weekend shaping up, my dahlings? Let’s take it one step at a time, with, today, a bit of gossip… So Portia DeRossi had her hair chopped off, not long ago (as you may remember, you said the first time the paparazzi caught her with her new hair, it totally looked like a staged photo shoot. Anyway…)

Portia was seen leaving a fancy hair salon, Salon & Benjamin, in West Hollywood with Cameron Diaz. Now I have no idea what they were doing there (maybe their nails, maybe their hair), but the end result is well.. Portia deRossi’s hair looks very much like Cameron Diaz’ hair. I hope Portia won’t take the similarities as far as following some crazy training routine like Cameron’s too…

Although I promise that gray sectional looks soooo much like our very own sectional (only in smaller and in gray – ours is bigger and beige), the pieces of furniture below come with a very fancy fashion label: Armani Casa.

After seeing these super stylish designer homes, I was wondering, since those who can really afford this kind of furniture are rarely at home (hence rarely using the said furniture) – has anyone scooped posh pieces like this on Craigslist? eBay? They have to go somewhere after the original buyer’s had enough of them and commands a re – styling of his / her interior…

When Marchesa releases anything, the eyes of the world are upon Georgina Chapman’s fancy label. Because whatever she does, it’s headed for the Red Carpet. Now it’s not a dress but a fragrance! With a mighty suggestive name “Marchesa Perfume d’Extase”.

If “Fame” is not your thing, and you’re more glamorous than any of the little monsters or the mother monster, Perfume d’Extase from Marchesa and its bottle inspired by raw quartz crystals sounds just the right deal (as described by wwd): “iris, freesia, young violet leaves, night – blooming jasmine, iris root, ambrox and musk”.

Just look at these beauties! I know I cut short on my favorite summer sandals & such. But with the arrival of the sales season, I thought it would be nice to think about a good – looking pair of boots for fall, maybe snatch a fair price on sales? So today I was staring at Mulberry’s Dorset ankle boots. I think they look perfect for city walks and beauty talks as well. Good for dreaming too (a pair retails for around $700)!

I often fantasized about Ralph Lauren’s clean, modern and comfy design. As such, I wondered if Ralph Lauren’s home (his Manhattan Apartment) would reflect the same spirit as the designer’s fashion collection.

And, judging by the looks of it, it’s really a coherent aesthetic. The pictures signed William Abranowicz of the Angelo Donghia renovated duplex for Elle Decor surprised the same minimalist style heavy anchored in the current (entertaining) reality. It’s hard to imagine someone who doesn’t appreciate the connection between the movie / entertainment industry and the fashion industry would place a Star Wars trooper in his entry hall! Or a Batman poster, for that matter!
