Talking about Tom Ford… Did you notice the bags and shoes he presented in his Tom Ford Spring Summer 2012 Womenswear collection? Because I did! And I thought they were really something else!
Straps and buckles always had my heart, so it’s not a surprise for me that Tom Ford’s designs stroke a sensitive nerve. The bags are outstanding: more like sleeves than bags, hanging on the shoulder down, near the body: sheer genius!

So have you heard that Lana del Rey is doing a Jaguar commercial? Yep! And you can already watch it below. Also: despite of my weakness for fast cars, Jaguar F – Type’s new video ad campaign left me all puzzled: what defines Lana Del Rey? Her pointy vamp manicure, Botox – enhanced pout, retro cat – eyed black liner… None of the above included in Jaguar’s commercial. So: where’s Lana in this Jaguar x del Rey ad?

The beauty of fashion talk is that we don’t have to agree on the various sartorial angles of a situation. I actually enjoy it more if you change my mind. Or I change yours. Based on my previous experience (with Ralph Lauren), you must suspect that I’ll be in the “like” bandwagon this time too. Saint Laurent’s Spring Summer 2013 collection was a very appealing one, in my opinion.
Hedi Slimane’s vision of next summer’s woman involves some key elements that are powerful enough to make a fashion statement all in keeping intact their commercial appeal. Although I fought really hard to keep myself from posting every single look from Hedi’s new collection, the 5 elements I’d love to keep from this Saint Laurent show are:

I’m sure it won’t be long before you go and blast this with a “cliché” label, but until you do, let’s just take a moment and enjoy the wonderful colors of Vogue China’s October 2012 cover!
Li Bing Bing (you may be familiar with her work in movies like The Forbidden Kingdom or this year’s Resident Evil: Retribution) covers this edition of Vogue all dressed in red and surrounded by red and yellow umbrellas. I know, it’s not uncommon / original during the fall season, to come up with red & yellow styling for covers and / or pictorials. But, then again, there’s fall every year and we still enjoy it, right?

Anne Hathaway’s white wedding dress is reportedly a custom – designed Valentino. She matched with a retro 20s inspired headpiece over her short haircut!

Is That A Wedding Ring On Miley Cyrus’ Finger?

My dahlings! You know we usually do Family & such during the weekend and even if this comes a bit later than usual, I think it’s a good start for the new month. (have a wonderful Fall, everyone!)
Browsing through the latest pictures with the ever – so – busy famous ones, I came across a piece of news showing Miley Cyrus getting her Starbucks fix and hiding under an olive green hat. Nothing new there, since she’s always complaining about her new wild haircut getting more attention that she gets.
But wait! What’s that on her ring finger? There where her rocky engagement ring usually sparkles? Does that look like a wedding band to you? Because it sure looks like one from where I’m standing! Is this Miley Cyrus’ wedding ring? And if so, when and where did the wedding take place and how come we have no pictures from the happy event?
UPDATE: Following a specific letter from a giant media entity, I was forced to modify this story and upload another picture showing Miley amd Liam walking together in September 2012 and another picture, published by Miley herself on her Twitter account, showing what seems to be a wedding band on her ring finger.
